Assault Heroes 2 is an Action & Adventure game developed by Wanako Studios and published by Sierra Online in 2008 for the Xbox 360.
Just when mankind thought the world was safe, the Assault Heroes are called back into action to once again save the planet from a sinister alien race in Assault Heroes 2. With a bigger and more powerful arsenal of weapons, players will be fully equipped to take out waves of fierce enemy foes and unbelievable bosses for many hours of destruction. Battles will also get up close and personal with more on-foot action in intense close-quarters firefights. Whether attacking on foot or piloting all-new spacecrafts, players will enjoy optimum mobility in the most dangerous situations.

In the sequel to the top-down scrolling shooter Assault Heroes players must fight hordes of enemies and huge bosses in an armored jeep. This time around there is also access to enemy vehicles such as helicopters and tanks which provide extra firepower in difficult situations. Fighting on foot is more manageable, with the new dodge-roll move used to avoid enemy fire, and certain areas are only accessible on foot. There are also less powerful versions of all the jeep's weapons including the new ice cannon which can freeze enemies in place so they can be shot to make them shatter to pieces.
There is co-op multiplayer, both offline and online, and players can link their weapons to make them stronger.

Escapist (25) Zone Battle: Defeat all spaceships in Areas 29 & 30: Medium or Hard difficulty in one session.
Fearless (20) Single Player: Complete 3 sequential areas on foot: Medium or Hard difficulty in one session.
Heroes Campaign (30) Co-Op Campaign: Complete all areas on Hard difficulty with the help of a friend.
Hot-wired (5) Single Player: Capture all 3 hijackable vehicles at least once.
Ice Cold (10) Single Player: Freeze 50% of infantry in any Zone: Medium or Hard difficulty in one session.
