Altered Beast NES   Necromancer540
Altered Beast was created by Sega in 1989 for the Sega Genesis and arcades, Asmik got the right to make an Altered Beast game for the NES In the NES version the graphics are not as good as the SG's but has some gameplay advantages, you can hit enemies a little further back than you normally would. In the NES version there is added levels, added beasts and added bosses. You punch enemies with the B button and kick with the A button because the NES controller only had 2 buttons you have to press Up on the D-Pad to jump and double tapping up will let you jump higher, The story remains the same as in the SG. You are playing as a centurion who was risen from his grave by Zeus to save his daughter, Athena from the evil god, Neff. In each level you need to defeat the white Cerberus's to collect the spirit balls collect three spirt balls and you'll transform into your beast form for that level, each beast form has different powers then you continue the level until you run into Neff. If you are not transformed when you run into Neff ,he'll leave and you continue the level until you are transformed, and then you will fight the boss for that level, whenever you complete a level your spirit balls are taken away by Neff and you go on to the next level.
