Geez its been forever since I've been here. Anyhow I could use prayer for my future. I just enlisted in the United States Marine Corps not very long ago and am extremely excited and also very very nervous about it. Just that I would succeed and do well and to be sure I'm doing what God wants.

I was sad by this but not too surprised. He just went into the hospital a few days ago so I kind of was wondering if this might be it for him. He was incredible for his contribution to Star Trek. It just wouldn't have been the same without him. He is a big part of why that franchise is credible to so many people. Without him it would have just been another cheesy 1960's tv show that would have still been good but not at all the cult hit that it is now. He was the perfect costar to William Shatner. He was my favorite character in the whole franchise.

warmaker:
: I absolutely agree when something is calling directly for violence it definitely should not be tolerated. I kind of erred with my wording on my post not being clear at all on that and I apologize. Beyond that though, how do you define hatred in modern society? Like I said, I agree something directly and obviously violent should not be acceptable such as Nazism or terrorism. However in society today I think the word "hate" is used far too liberally. As an example; Is hatred solely Westboro protesting gays and funerals saying God hates fags? Or has it now extended itself to anything merely disagreeing with gay rights. This is the point I attempted to make. I think opinions should be tolerated regardless or peoples perception of them such as being perceived as being hateful which like I said I think is very liberally defined now. And again I agree actual violence and extremism should not be tolerated.

I would say it all just depends on your personal situation. College isn't necessarily for everyone and you're not gonna fail at life just because you don't attend it. It also depends on the job market and what field you go for. For me and my life it wouldn't make a lot of sense to go for some rare field in a bad economy when there aren't many openings only to be unemployed and in a lot of debt. But that's me. You could do well with the proper plan in place.

There are so many. I love Super Mario world and Super Mario 3. In my opinion tied for the best mario games with Super mario and mario bros tied for second, but also the greatest old school games of all time. I also like old arcade games like Pac man and Galaga.

My best guess would be between 7 and 10 bibles. I had an illustrated children's bible when I was 4 or 5. Than I had a 'The adventure Bible" NIV from 6 to about 13 would be my best guess. I than got a bible for teen guys bible for only a couple years until I read some of lee strobels books and decided to get a lee strobel study bible. After a while I just got tired of having so many Bibles with commentary by the distributor that I got an NASB leather cover that was pretty much just a bible without all of the other stuff. And it was crazy how small that book was without all the extra stuff in it that a lot of bibles have. There is almost more commentary than actual scripture. Anyway, I also have many Gideon pocket bibles around in which I keep one on me at all times, so yeah I have a lot.

I sympathize with you because I have this problem as well. The thing I do that may help sometimes is mentally backtrack. I just try thinking of what I was thinking about that led me into whatever it was that I forgot in the first place.

Absolutely all opinions deserve tolerance. I do understand that some opinions can be extremely radical and dangerous, but in my opinion you can't build and maintain a free society unless everyone's views are tolerated, even the ones we absolutely cannot stand.

Teen Nick is my thing. I just love the old nineties shows I grew up watching like Hey arnold and Rugrats. As well as CatDog and Rocket Power to name a few. They were and still are the bomb.

The last thing I watched today was Star Trek the Original series. I watched two episodes of it, the first being "Spock's Brain" where his brain is literally taken, and the other is "And the children shall lead" which is about a group of children who's parents mysteriously die at the hands of a non corporeal being named Gorgan. I love Star Trek.

Its been an insanely long time since anyone has posted here but I LOVE this subject matter. I've been a passionate fan of both since I was a toddler. When I was younger Star Wars but as I've gotten older I've gotten more into Star Trek with its more mature concepts. Its really hard for me to pick. I guess it depends partly on eras. I prefer the Original series of Star Trek to the prequel trilogy of Star Wars. That being said I would give the Original trilogy of Star Wars an edge over the Next generation that gets bigger as the show went on because I wasn't all that fond of the later seasons of the Next Generation. Although earlier on it was close. In terms of the earlier eras it isn't all that close. I will take the Knights of the old Republic and old republic era over the Enterprise era without much hesitation. Also conceptually I just like the greater originality of the storylines of Star Trek over Star Wars. Particularly as the villains are concerned. I'm not knocking Darth Vader or Darth Sidious because they were just awesome and better than anything star trek puts out. But it feels like Star Wars just rehashes these villains over and over again with different villains now and again but not a lot of differences. In the end Star Wars just keeps using the sith which like I said are still awesome but it still is more the same. In Star Trek you have V'ger and the borg, as well as the unforgettable Khan and his augments, and just a lot of different guys. The only downside to something so episodic being that there isn't as much emotional impact in Star Trek as there is in Star Wars. In terms of video games and just general badassery which is what most people now a days care about, its no competition in favor of Star wars. Darth Vader, Star destroyers, the death star, and lightsabers to name a few are absolutely revolutionary. Overall this is just incredibly difficult to pick one and I guess it just depends on what I'm more invested in at a time. I might give some edge to Star Wars overall but I don't know.

Sure, racism exists with any race. It doesn't just apply to white folks. I would say in this case it was racism. This is the unfortunate trend in the minority communities. Its not that I don't believe in history. Its just the amount of bitterness over history that isn't constructive. At some point I think people like that just need to stop being angry. Maybe it will make life easier.

I wouldn't strike Syria. I don't think the consequences have been accounted for. Another thing that really worries me is how much the line between friend or foe has been extremely dimmed. There is a lot of talk going on that the rebels in large part are terrorists that are pouring in from all over the middle east. If Assad is ousted we could very well see an even more radical Muslim regime like we saw with Morsi from Egypt. This trend has been going on quite a bit in the Middle East and in North Africa over the last few years. Older regimes are being replaced with radical regimes full of Anti US and Israel rhetoric. Its unfortunate how so many uprisings that could have been used to usher in freedom and human rights have been hijacked by Jihadists. It would seem as though a new Caliphate is coming.

I'm a 49er fan and yeah, you're not being us in San Francisco. Our defense is recharged and looks a lot better than last season which says a lot because we were already top 5 good until are pass rush kind of gave out.11-5 was a good pick for what we knew was an up and coming team that could surprise a lot of people. But I don't see them doing 15-1 good. For one thing I think they could play better on the road and another thing is I don't see them being as good at home as they were the year before. So I think they'll lose at least 1 home game. Overall I have a lot of respect for you guys and I think you'll be a consistent contender but I think you need to prove yourselves over a couple seasons like us before we start crowning you super bowl champions in late August. After all, last year was the 1st really good season.

I think this was the most sensible verdict. And by all means say what you want. Zimmerman shouldn't have gotten out of his car or followed Martin to begin with. I get it, and if I was in his shoes I probably wouldn't have even noticed the kid. (Although if you see what looks to be a crime about to take place, I think you ought to report it.) But that doesn't justify punching someone and than getting on top busting Zimmerman's head into the pavement and just trying to kill him. When someone is goading you or provoking you, you don't have the right to go up and start attacking the guy. I believe Zimmerman did what he had to because I think Trayvon Martin would have killed him otherwise. I feel really bad for George Zimmerman. Because of the media constantly playing the race card and constantly portraying Trayvon Martin as an innocent little kid, people will now view Zimmerman as Casey Anthony. His reputation is ruined and he'll probably have to go into hiding now because people will hate him. I just hope people don't get to violent after this verdict.

I seek prayer on a very important issue that has been nagging me for a while. Long story short, I'm home schooled and I consider myself a c average student. There was a couple of years there where I did not do well and they really set me back. So surprisingly enough I only need one extra year of high school classes to make up for it.  Having an extra year is making me impatient and a little down over it. I will also say that when the time comes, I do have plans of joining the military and than use that to help me get into college for politics and for Bible history. All in all it is depressing waiting and I am getting a little impatient. I could use some prayer to help ease my heart and also prayer for my future which I've been called to for sometime now. This is not easy to pull off so I really need prayer for that to. So that would be much appreciated.

I'd love to participate in this. Except I don't know that I'd care for Viz if I were to win any of these. I don't really use the stuff anyway.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
