hello, i want to discuss with the internet who they beleve is the best video game character and why. so, just discuss, argue, and fight to your heart's desire i'll go first.
i beleve that link is the best character because he's only ever had 3 bad games and thoughs wern't licenced by nintendo so they don't really count, plus he's a bad ass

My favorite video game character is Metal Sonic from the Sonic series. He's truly awesome, has an epic appearance, (complete with several different forms) and manages to capture the sense of "villian" and "evil version of hero" perfectly.

The fact that my favorite video game character isn't from MegaMan surprises more people than it should.

I have to say that the best video game chracter is Vyse from Skies Of Arcadia legends. He is adventurous, he has a sweet blade to destroy his enemies, he is also cool. I like his courageness and his bravery. He has the happiest mood and the highest spirit when fighting creepy monsters from the outerspace to the deep big, ice spider. He also ones a great, huge ship, that can travel around the skies. He also owns a moon, which he uses a base. He also have 2 great friends that will help and aid him through tough times.

Kratos from the God of War game because he can pull off creative finishers on his enemies and can kill titans and Greek gods. I also like Zero from the Megaman X/Zero series, he stubbornly refuses to die and skillfully weilds an energy saber. Favorite villain would have to be Omega Zero from MegamanZero 3 for his infamous 7-hit combo and bustershot blade throw technique.

I'm gonna call it a tie between the retro Castlevania main protagonists, Samus from Metroid, Mega Man X, and Link.

If I had to choose, I'd pick Link because the adventure genre of video games is what I'm most likely to play. I consider myself to be an adventurous type but, I wouldn't wield a sword and shield in reality and go fight dragons and moblins, a gun however maybe. But for games I'm more into the medieval genre, and with the added combination of fantasy and puzzle solving, Link's the man.
