I go to post in the NFL thread and, lo and behold, I'm stopped. I have too many back and forth threads. I have to please wait until someone else posts before I post again.

Three different people posted since the last time I posted on here. And the time stamp shows more than five minutes between posts. I've seen conversations go on between two people who are just talking to each other and they're still posts.

What's going on here? Has anyone else experienced this? Unfortunately, a majority of Vizzed users don't follow and/or comment on the NFL thread so there's not much conversation between a ton of people. It's a few people enjoying a football season.

I have to wait for someone else? Even though I'm not a 'newbie' type with post limits?

Can we have a ruling, please?

You're not the only one to experience this. I've heard of a few users, besides myself, who have had their ups and downs with this limit.

I myself don't know the exact details, but if you post too much in a thread not made by yourself there's a point where you're not able to post in that thread anymore. No matter how much time has passed between posts, it's all a matter of percentages: you cannot have too many posts in a single thread.

This rule should totally be changed. It's made to avoid excessive sandwich posting and so other people have the chance to reply, but if certain time passes without replies then I see no bad in sandwich posting. Introducing a time gap, in a similar manner we did with actions, would be very nice.

I somewhat agree, but with the next TDV coming up.   This would require extra moderation during TDV'S or it'd need to be shut off during the TDV.

I agree with the few hours thing, but I'd imagine it being highly abused for the blue jersey.

It seems weird. The last post I made was from 9/21, around 6:00pm or so. That was days ago. And four total people posted after me. They were unique users, not two other people going back and forth and now it's my turn.

I'm baffled. I guess I'll just give up on that thread for a while then. It seems like I don't get to take my shot at the conversation.

And besides, there's already a rule for sandwich posting during TdV, not to mention the rules about making too many posts in a single thread, so changing this limit wouldn't change at the slightest the moderation during a TdV.

I haven't recovered access to the thread I was forbidden from, and I haven't heard of anyone going through your same problem to ever recover access, so it doesn't look good upon you. Nevertheless, keep checking the thread and try making a post to see if it opens up for you again, because things like this pop out of the blue and tend to be solved in the same way as they appeared.

Yeah.....that tends to happen to everyone including me at one point. Its not nice when that happens. So you have to keep an eye out on that when posting I make sure I do. So I don't run into it again since its really annoying when it does happen. :/

Yeah I definitely found an annoyance of this when I was in a conversation with a few people, and we both had to wait until someone else posted. I mean if you have a nice debate about something, or a nice discussion, etc. You want it to keep going.
