Now, before you guys decide to comment away, please listen to me... This is supposed to be a multi-purpose thread.

So, I was checking out Humlebundle, and what did I see? Their end of summer same, has some amazing deals, some of which include games and bundles and DLC packs, well, this one I got, had BOTH Darksiders games, and all DLC from the second game, this has finally convinced me to buy them and finally give this franchise a try. But, I know some things about this game, but would enjoy getting some tips, and don't give me the "Don't be afraid to die." thing, cause I already know this. It's definitely a game, where death doesn't mean it's bad. I am giving this game a chance, with the end goal of reviewing.

So, now your asking me about what tips I want? Well, I want to get tips on how to maximize my time and experience! I want to get the most possible out of this game. This would help me to get a very good review, and of coarse, it will be slightly biased, as I already have heard quite a  bit about this game, that makes it hard to review and it'll make me want to just "gun" through this game, without actually getting a good experience, so I want you guys to give me a positive spin on your experience, and some tips thrown in

Just so you guys have a chance at looking into this deal:
https://www.humblebundle.com/store/darksiders-franchise-pack
It's $10 for the entire thing, so I think it's worth a mention!

I would think the discovery of a game and maximization of the play is a result of self-discovery and learning about it at your own hands. Maybe I'm one of the few ones but I like approaching a new game knowing nothing about it. I like reading the manual, seeing the 'rules' and the basics and going forth and learning about it. I like taking my time and finding all the ins and outs of the game without the online help, the FAQs, the walkthroughs and demos and whatever else is out there.

Later, after I've done a playthrough, I like to see what other people say and see what I've missed. I usually miss some stuff. But it's so much more fulfilling to rely on only me.

Darthyoda, I haven't played the game. I have nothing to offer and I apologize for that. Even if I believe one thing, I would have dumped info on you if I knew any but I haven't been to the title yet and I can't share a single thing. I won't go and find an FAQ for you because there are folks who know exactly what they're doing and they'll share their knowledge.

Good hunting. I hope you enjoy the experience.
