I just wanted to post about a rhythm game I've been playing quite a bit lately called Kshoot Mania.  Kshoot Mania is based on an arcade game developed by Konami called Sound Voltex.  If I had to describe the game, I'd say it's similar to both Guitar Hero and DJ Hero.  You have to hit the white and orange notes while also moving an arrow along paths known as lasers.  There are free downloads of the songs from Sound Voltex for use in Kshoot Mania along with the Kshoot client itself.  I'd recommend searching around reddit and google if you want to know how exactly to find these things.  If you're a fan of games like Osu!, I'd definitely recommend that you try Kshoot Mania.

If you have played Kshoot before, what's your favorite song to play and on which difficulty?  I find that I enjoy faster songs such as Overdrivers and World of Sound on advanced (medium) difficulty.  Also, I'd like to know how long you've been playing and if you use the keyboard or one of the custom Kshoot controllers (I use keyboard myself, I can't afford one of those controllers).  Perhaps we could start some sort of Kshoot contest in the future if there are enough players.
