i spent 3 nights in a very lovely little town called st. andrews and it was so calm and serene and quaint and cute and friendly and cuddly and cozy and pure if it had a theme song it would b this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=02K40TA3yMQ

i seriously loved it so much and i'm glad i got to stay longer this time bc i only spent 1 night there last summer

anyway i stayed in a bed n breakfast with my sister and my dad and his friend will (who was super cool and chill and drove us around in his jeep) and the family we were staying with was russian and they were really nice and super good cooks too (we had quiche on the 1st morning french toast on the 2nd and eggs benedict on the 3rd)

we went whale-watching and idk how many whales i saw bc i could have seen the same one many times but i caught WAY more glimpses than i did last year and we were really lucky!! they served iced tea and biscuits and smoked salmon pate (which was V good)

my dad said pokemon go was taking over the world because we heard a couple of guys (who nodded in approval of my pokecow moo shirt as if i'd just been confirmed as a "cool kid") on bikes saying something about "the next pokestop" and a middle-aged man wearing a team instinct shirt and a "pokemon go player notice" outside the chocolate museum (which i'll get to soon) and an old lady jumping to lower the volume of her ringtone which i distinctly identified as the kanto wild pokemon theme i'm not even joking it was inside an a&w rip

so anyway we also visited an aquarium and i picked up a crab and made a small starfish friend who had one limb that was waaay tinier than the others (i assume it was growing back)

then we went to the chocolate museum and read about the history of chocolate and pigged out @ the all-you-can-eat section (my favorites were the cappuccino caramel ones) and we were watching old ganong chocolate commercials and my dad was all like "i remember seein that on tv as if it were yesterday n i've memorized it like the back of my hand" and i found both that cute and the fact that the guy in the ad wasn't lookin @ the camera a lot of the time

we walked by the sea a lot bc it's a fishing town and even went to a place we only learned we weren't allowed to be in on the way out we're such thugs

so anyway i shared a room w/ my sister and there was a bunk bed

@ first i wanted the top bunk bc like who doesn't want the top bunk but then i got a magnificent idea and opted for the bottom one bc that would mean i could hang my blanket (it was too hot for me to need it anyway) off of the top one so that it covered mine completely and created a fort in which i happily resided for 3 nights staying up way later than i should have talking to rgay13 (out of pity of course i mean even dunces need friends) like a real gangsta
