Things change. That much is true. People can change several things about themselves over a given period of time, such as their viewpoint or opinion on somethings. Sometimes, people change their daily routines or some other variable. You could say people like these are the most flexible, as they willingly and triumphantly adapt to anyone and anything around them in any given situation for one reason or another. Those like myself though, we are more stable. We prefer planning out our lives extensively and stick with what we know best, even though it dampens our ability to take a risk. It's not that we are indecisive, we just prefer a planned out lifestyle, and change is a bit cumbersome for us to adapt too. We can change too, just as long as it's practical and suits our needs. People who prefer change and doing things in different ways from time to time, can also enjoy stability. It's kind of a mixed bag. I chose this topic because I want to know how you go about your life, and if being prone to change or stability affects it in any way.

Do you prefer changing things up or keeping them similar? Why? Are you perfectly capable of doing the opposite thing? Or do you blend elements of both when making decisions? Thank you for reading.

Well I think there will be some changes that has to be made in peoples lifestyles for things to be like easier for them. Not everyone likes changes it would be made even if they don't like it. Most people like to keep stability in their life because of how it has been for a long period of time. So to change and maybe add in something to that effect? It wouldn't be easy at first to adjust at all. I like some changes if or when it is necessary for me, but most of all I like keeping my stability since its easier to know of very well.

While stability is nice, I also get really bored with stability. While is why I like change, because it's interesting and usually gives me something to do. There is some things in life where I would really prefer stability however and don't really react well to change with ^^'.

I learned over the last few years that while stability is nice and comfortable, it really isn't going to get you anywhere.

Experience is gained through tough times and risk, which is often a component of change. It's tough to develop when you never go through those trials and tribulations.

That being said, change is not something that has to happen constantly. It's fine to enjoy stability so long as you experience the occasional hardship.

But if I had to pick, I would say I prefer change.

I honestly prefer when things stay the same, AKA stability, over change. When change happens, you aren't really sure of what is going on, and while that can be exciting, sometimes it is just scary. When I know what the outcome of a situation is, it is a lot better than when I have no clue at all. When things stay the same, they normally turn out better than when you are hit with a bunch of twists and turns.

I think change can be good. For example I changed my lifestyle when I became a Christian and years later rededicated. It gave me a new attitude and lifestyle. That type of change can be good and is needed. People can change for the good or bad, which is not good at all,

Me I prefer things to be stable. I don't like change unless its for the good like what I mentioned above. I like things to be in a routine. But maybe that is because of my Autism why i don't like things to change constantly

I would only like a change if it is for the better. If it's not, then what is the point of the change? And I'm talking about any change in general. (habits, features on websites/electronics, life, etc)

I'm the type of person who only loves to be used to one thing though... (sometimes)

I prefer stability. I don't mind change, as long as it doesn't keep happening over and over. I agree with Mohammed in the fact that if the change is for the worse, then I don't see the point in change. I overall prefer stability and a more routine lifestyle, although it maybe boring at some points.
