Storage Wars is a fun and interesting little show I found out about around 2 years ago but never mentioned it until now. The basic idea is that it's basically auctions at abandoned storage units, and whoever wins the action for that storage unit can either keep the stuff they find or sell it to make more money than what they payed for the storage unit. It makes more sense the more you watch it, and sometimes even drama and fights break out, and that's fun to watch. xD

What are your opinions of this show?

In all seriousness, I really don't care for the show at all. Shows like this just feed into the idea that acting like trash is a positive way to live your life and you could end up "famous" for doing so. I'm not saying everyone on the show is like that, but some of them definitely don't strike me as classy either. And besides, like most reality based TV, either all of the drama is scripted, or it's filmed over a period of like 6 months to a year, and the half an hour a week you see is simply the high lights from that huge span of time. It's not like that most of the time, they simply edit out all the boring stuff, and leave what they know people want to see

My mom loves watching shows like this and it drives me crazy lol.

I watched this a really long time ago once or twice, and I limed it but stopped once I moved away from most parts of TV. To me, this show was on the same interest levels as shows like Pawn Stars, which I would watch whenever I had a chance.

I will say this much. . . I used to find it interesting, but I don't really watch it anymore. I'm not too fond of any of the characters, although the bidding and each person's attempt to beat each other out can be really funny. scripted or not, television is meant to entertain you. The only thin that irritates me is the lack or morality from time to time.

Check out Shark Tank. That show is pretty neat.

Have you heard of it? The cast is so much better in that show, and Kevin O'leary is just great. Real people are pitching real products for actual portions of their company. It's really neat to see what products are brought in there and how the companies are constructed.

Some people are really bad at pitching them, other's just don't have potential or constructed their companies too poorly. Sometimes there are moments which are rather heartwarming, much to my surprise when Kevin teamed up with Lori for 40% of a gumbo making business.

If you like reality TV series, I really recommend giving Shark Tank a look. It's far better than all the others, and I hope they keep it cool.

yeah I watch it, I find it interesting what they find it there, but the producers likely put stuff in the lockers for a surprise effect.
