In my personal opinion, the best Pokémon is Pikachu. Yes, it's the most generic Pokémon, and it has become nothing but a "posterboy" for the company. However, in the original Pokémon Yellow game, I reached level 100 with Pikachu. This was my first ever level 100 Pokémon, so, of course, it was a huge moment for me - especially as a child. This has led me to maintain a huge attachment to Pikachu specifically, and is thus, in my opinion, the absolute best Pokémon.
