I like the 'monster you cannot escape' part. If you expound on that for a round 2, maybe showing a person trying to run and the thing they fear keeps after them. It's not fast, it doesn't sprint, but it never stops, it never surrenders, and it will get them in the end.

That's solid writing, what you did there. Keep at it.

I have to agree with ghostbear: this is solid writing. I really enjoyed it, and it has some real truth behind it. I was wondering what it was talking about throughout especially at the "I am what will scare you regardless of your age" and then I saw the end and it all clicked. I love the style.

And another amazing thing here done by you. Why is it I didn't see it sooner? I feel bummed out that I had not. But oh well I've seen it now that's all that matters. This type of thing can help a lot of people in a way. When you read it and think about it afterwards, it gives some sort of a sense feel of comfort and encouragement as well.
