Hi,
I know this is advertising in a sense, but I'm mostly looking for constructive criticism of my video and suggestions as to what I should do next with my technology related videos.
As you might have guessed it's about Longhorn Build 4074, the most famous build of the Longhorn project, basically a 12-13 minute video that goes over parts of the operating system.
I do have a tendency to ramble and the audio might be a little poor, you might also want to turn the volume up because I didn't record it at that high a volume for some reason...
Thanks, though. (It's already had something like 52 views, mostly people from GBAtemp.)

First off, cut off everything before 0:32. We don't need to know you're new to this. Also, you want to have the VM ready to go before you start, and keep the virtualization software off camera (This means the popup when you click in, telling you how to get out).

And the one thing I say to all people who post such threads: SCRIIIIIPT. Seriously. What you should have done was taken this video, then decided exactly what you wanted to say, wrote a script, and just condensed it down to that. You would sound so much more expert and could look up what stacks and static lists were before recording, giving viewers a bit of an extra look into interesting (if incomplete) history.

A good early attempt. It was much better than I expected.

Lazlo Falconi : Yeah I was going to use a script for a later video (Longhorn 3718), but could not get the actual VM to work unless I changed the date on my Mac and then it wouldn't reset after I did get the VM to work. Did write several notes about 3718 though and I think I did a short demo of it partially, but not all of it.

Then for some reason I got grounded and the opportunity never arose again. Shame because I liked doing the overview stuff then.
I actually only booted the VM once before doing the video hence why I didn't use a script though. Because I didn't really want to touch everything already and sort of boot it up as a new system (though can't you clone VMs? I forgot)
Lol, I guess I'm less crapo then I was maybe just half a year ago.
Even though I still don't do proper research or make proper solid decisions and opinions sometimes.
