I have recently just finally watched the movie "Jurassic World".

Namely...holy crap that was COOL!

Did I really just see that guy chill with his raptors?

Mommy I wanna ride the Triceratops!

And speaking of raptors.....

The purpose of this thread is to...express what, why, and where you would choose to have a dinosaur as your petly friend...or your partner in crime as it may be (I know you people are out there...lol). Lastly, provide a bit of detail.

In Jurassic World we have one main character who trains and befriends raptors...Owen. Please feel free to share in purpose of going with this threads idea as I have asked and will put again simply...whatz your dinosaur?

What dinosaur? Tyranosaurus Rex.

Why? Not for the cookiez or toyz.

Where? That country villa I've always wanted.

You know the T-Rex has been and still is a particular staple in dinoculture. They hunt, run around though I don't believe in circles, and they really just look iconic. Without them...as without any dinosaur...we just wouldn't be the same would we?

What dinosaur?: One of those little tiny ones that look like a little raptor. They would always run in packs and slowly eat people alive piece by piece. Though I'd only want one. If you've seen the original films, it's the little tiny guys that the one bad guy would shock with his taser stick, and they finally came back to eat him when he got stranded. I wish I knew a better way to explain which species I was talking about : /

Why?: One, they would make an awesome house pet. I wouldn't have to do anything special to take care of it, and could treat it like a dog for the most part. I'd teach him all kinds of cool tricks, and since he'd be alone and away from actually being in a pack, I wouldn't have to worry about him eating anything or anyone which could be an issue otherwise. Also, I like my pets to at least somewhat be able to lay down next to me or on my lap when I'm chilling around the house, so it would be the perfect size for that. Also, I find those little guys to be just too cute, in a reptilian kind of way.

Where?: Where I live now. I wouldn't want to have to do anything special to care for them (like moving or building a giant arena / caged in area to keep them in) so that's why I chose what I did. Plus I would like my pet to be as comfortable as possible, so having one that's able to live inside the house with me is a must. Both for their sake, and for me so I'm able to spend as much time with them as I possibly can.

Hopefully bumping this thread will get some more responses. I'd like to see what some of the other users would say or think about this idea. A dinosaur for a pet is something I would imagine most kids think about at some point in their life
