Seriously! I've played and beaten Klonoa: Door to Phantomile and Lunatea's Veil and both are really fun. I've even tried the gameboy games in the franchise and I had no problem with those. Why is it that the Klono franchise has so few games? I would jump at the chance to see Klonoa get a continuation!

The main reason it's not continuing is because the company, NAMCO Bandai, saw that it was not doing good, sales wise. They needed something to boost their company's overall... establishment? I'm not too sure if it's because of profit or their standing in the gaming industry. Now and days, Klonoa is exclusive to Japan. I am not sure if they are continuing it overseas or not, though.

Same as what Kuti_Kat said- Klonoa didn't do that well financially, and had pretty few sales. And some of the games are exclusive to Japan, but I don't think it's exclusive to Japan, though, but I'm not an expert (that'd indicate that there's only new games in Japan and while there were like 2 Klonoa games exclusive to Japan, they weren't the last Klonoa games), even if the series usually only had decent-high sales in Japan and low elsewhere. I think the last Klonoa game to be released (here or overseas) was the Wii remake of the first game, Door to Phantomile, which... yea. Unfortunately, I don't think there will be a new game, at least not soon. It might get another reboot way in the future, but probably not really likely (the Wii remake was sort of a reboot, and hey it's happened before where a "dead" video game series randomly had a reboot).

I wish the series continued too, and while I may not play Klonoa often at all, I'm sure I'd enjoy the games (I've played a bit of one of the GBA games, and I liked what I played).

Klonoa is easily one of the best platformer series ever in my opinion. It's a shame that it was overshadowed by (again, in my opinion) inferior games. It would be so awesome if the series was revived, but I don't see that happening over here. :/
