I spend a lot of my day now think why God is throwing all this pain and worrie at me, but I also think 'What do I gain from this' (It could mostly be 15 year old hormones throwing random crap into my head ) Sometimes, I think that life is a century long training program to either ready us for an eternety of peace in heaven if we succeed, or an eternety of pain and suffering.
Its questions like this that keep me up at night, wondering weather or not im religiously correct. I'm not sure weather to be asking for your opinions or your advice, but either is good!

Well, in reality God doesn't send you to hell, you do. In the bible, when the women comited adultary, the women did not deny the charges and Jesus said "Go and sin no more."
We also know that the people who went to stone her were also guilty of sin. This was made prominent by when Jesus said that whoever was sinnless could throw the first stone. They examined their conscience, convicted themselves, then left.
In the end, the women stayed next to Jesus's side, while the others, equally sinful, distanced themselves from Him.
When people who have sinned face up to their sins and become closer to Jesus and God, they go to heaven, but when they shun themselves from the light and don't repent, casting themselves into hell.

That's not at all what I was getting at.

Why would God create billions of people only to send half (just an estimate) to eternal pain and suffering? And the other half get eternal bliss.... it just doesn't seem fair that one half gets punishment and the other half gets bliss when there are practically an infinite range of difference in how righteous any one person is compared to another.

First of all, I don't think life is a century of training cause how many people actually live to be 100? Not many... What would we be training for? What if your a baby and die? You wont be trained...

Life is a failure no matter how successful you are it will come to an abrupt end someday. Being successful is to survive day in and day our through hell or through peace. We all face good and evil and we all commit good and evil deeds throughout our lives.

If you are the type of person who cannot let go of grudges or say sorry, you will go to hell. Why? Because god doesn't want anyone disagreeing with him in his kingdom. So if you admit guilt and say sorry that makes you good but if you admit guilt and don't say sorry you go to hell... If I kill tons of people then repent I guess I will go to heaven? I think the logic in that is flawed. What if you repent but are lying at the same time? What happens then?

Seems to me that if this is how the system works then "demons" could easily bypass the gates and enter gods heaven.

What is wrong with my arguement? I know tons of people who have "lied" their about a sorry just to get away with something so I know it's possible. Bill Clinton lied to the american people on national TV while saying he did not have sexual relationships so I guess once he says sorry that everything is all handy dandy?

It would make more sense that if you do something bad, sorry or not you will be punished. That doesn't seem to be the case, and that is why people seem to get away with the horrible acts they commit on earth because they are close to a system which can let them off the hook.

Well, answer me this... what is the point in repenting when god knows the real answer? If he knows if someone is sorry or not without repenting that makes it kind of pointless except for the fact that your admitting to guilt on your own free will.

If god does NOT know the answer, then I can see why repenting would exist. But if he knows ahead of time, then the purpose of it is basically, "Your right cause your god, I'm wrong. If I disagree at all I can go to hell".

If I killed thousands of people and was truly sorry would I get into heaven? Even if I repented? What if I was the guy who nuked hiroshima and was sorry for my actions. Would god discriminate or would he let me go if I repented? If not, then that means god can send anyone to hell whether your sorry or not which would make repenting subjective depending on if God likes you.

you just don't get it Jigsaw. Your whole viewpoint is so skewed.... and I've tried to figure out how or why.... but you have a very messed up idea of who God is which explains why you have so much trouble understand him at all.
