Hi everybody (again),

Before I disappeared, I wanted to be part of this community. I made a post in fitness that nobody was interested in and then I ended up quitting that program myself (T-25 is killer on your knees). Anyway, I just wanted to say that life just got in the way and I'm hoping to at least log in daily again. I'm still taking game recommendations, so if anybody has any of those (preferably easy to play with only a keyboard since I do not own a controller to plug and play with), I'll happily take them. I have graduated college magna cum laude 3.50–3.74 total GPA) (woohoo!) but I am having a hard time finding a job and just staying motivated to take care of myself at the same time. I'm working on it bit by bit though. I have completed a 30 day squat challenge and am now doing a 30 day plank challenge that will result in me being able to plank for 3 minutes by the end of it (right now, 70 seconds is hard, so I can't wait to be strong enough for 3 minutes!) I am also hoping to get back in touch with the nice people who greeted me (actual proper greeting that made me feel welcome) on my introduction post because I kind of miss them. I've also been busy with learning new things like coding and Korean (After my 5 years, I still kind of suck at it, so please bear with me) and I'm trying to read a chapter of a book a day. I hope to complete my personal library I have gathered throughout the years (23 (almost 24) of them now) before I take any out of my towns library. I still find myself wasting time with dumb online games that don't require nearly as much time as I put into them. I don't know any ideas for beating this procrastination, but I will eventually (hopefully?) figure it out. I also hope to make some mature friends here to help me stick around longer this time. Oh! I also managed to save up enough Viz to buy the Game Accelerator recently too, so now I'm working on getting the V Machine CD.

Long story short, life got in the way. Then actual life got in the way. I'm back now though!

Glad your back, and yeah life does get in the way. As a Christian I will lift you up in prayer that you find a job and things get easier. You said you did not have a control. I don't know if your from Canada or America. If you are a good game control to get is Rock Candy Xbox 360 wired control. You can plug it into your PC works like a flash drive works like a regular control. Walmart sells them but so does Game Stop

Yay! Welcome back! It's always good to see a returning member. I sometimes haunt the chatroom, so if you want me, try to hop into there and I'll say hello in there to you, and on a sidenote, a really good keyboard friendly gaming idea is pretty much any standard RPG for GBA or SNES. THose always turn out really good for me. Things like Pokemon or Final Fantasy work great. Again, great t osee you back, and hope to see some of them gameplays.

tornadocam : That's sweet. Thanks. I need one that will work for all types of games. Xbox 360 is a bit... I don't know how to say it, but it's not my forte.? I never really played Xbox, so I never got use to handling them? My friend had one that worked for pretty much everything though, so I'm probably going to ask him about finding one. GameStop in my town closed! Very unfortunate.

manicman66 : I don't really do chat rooms (mostly because it costs viz, and I'm trying to save now). I'll keep that type in mind. I already play Pokémon (yes, even the tiny baby games like the rescue team ones), but I'm looking for more suggestions if you have any? I'm not sure if you can find my introduction post, but they had a list going for me. Some titles included Chrono Trigger, Illusion of Gaia, Tales of Phantasia, Terranigma, Megaman games, Castlevania, Ninja Gaiden, Zelda, Metroids, Bomberman 64, Banjo Kazooie, Golden Eye 64 and Donkey Kong. Except, obviously some of them just don't work for keyboard only that well.

It's fine to be away from vizzed for a while, many of us have had to take a break from vizzed for a while before, including me. Real life should always come before internet life so I'm proud that you put real life first.

Welcome back to the site! Like tornadocam I'll be praying that you can find a job. I can relate a little bit since I'm hoping to get a summer job next year and I'm struggling to find what kind of job I'd like to do during the summer.

Good luck finding a job and with your fitness! Hopefully you can make some friends here and be able to visit often.

Haha, I was doing T-25 for a while a year or two ago. Man, that killed me. I think I remember the Cardio one being super tough on me but yeah, my legs were usually more sore than my arms. I would make fun of the people in the background (since sometimes they did stupid s***) to keep my mind off how much I was physically exerting myself. I stopped since school got in the way (code for "I need to be way more in shape to do this so I'm done"), but if I can find the DVDs I might start again.

Anyways, I'm kind of in the same boat as you, dropping inactive due to life, 'cept it's mostly just keeping my GPA above 3.25. Welcome back.

Doing the plank for THREE minutes? I can barely make it to two (and 90 seconds on average). If you can achieve that, you can achieve anything sister, even getting a job! I (personally) know it is hard, but as we say in French, nothing is impossible to a brave heart.

janus : I'm actually up to 100 seconds now. I still need to do it tonight, but I'm going to PR again for 110. I can feel it!

Galacta : It wasn't tough, it was just awful on my knees and I didn't even feel the ab exercises. The superman was not made for me apparently. Planks work me out well though, so I'm sticking with them. Good luck with your GPA!

supernerd117 : I use to do P90X but my parents are kind of jerks and constantly b****ed at me for wanting to do it (and doing it for two weeks before ultimately giving up because they are awful.) It was overly brutal since you need to have a super support system to continue and when you have people worse that 100 pound weights weighing you down, it's not easy. They have P90X 2 and a 30 minute one P90X 3 now. I'm just looking to gain muscle, not really lose fat. It's hard for me even more because I don't eat enough.as it is.

PacmanandMariofan : Eh, in reality, it wasn't real life before virtual life. It was more of a "I have so much work to do I can't even relax and do what I want anymore." It's not a good way to live life.

Side note for everyone: I am a Pagan! It's making me sort of uncomfortable with all of these "prayers". Maybe... could you stop, just out of courtesy? Thanks!
