Hello All. As most of you may know already, thing1 has been Perma Banned ( and I'm not quite sure how that happened exactly ) but that does not mean that this pick'em thread has to be banned as well. I noticed that thing1's sign up thread was closed for some reason and I thought that was not right because I know that most of you wanted to participate this year ( myself included ). So, I have summoned you all here to see who still wants to participate in this league.

Now, for those of you who don't know, MattyIce is my brother and I have been talking with him about the league this past week. He has agreed to let me help out with this thread and I figure that we should just pick up where we left off. Also, I know that everyone has given their fair share of Viz to thing1 already, in which this Viz was meant as support for rewards during the season but I don't think we will be able to do some of those this year since they were all thing1's idea. But I suppose we could keep the "best/perfect weekly record each week" reward and you will still receive rewards based on your final standings, of course. As of right now, I'm still looking over the rules and different threads that we will be using but I just wanted to take the time to see where everyone stands on this and if you all still want this to happen. So... who's in?

Sorry, but I'm going to sit it out this year. I got some enjoyment out of it last year, but I'm just not up for it this time around. Hope it goes great this year, though! 

I'm okay with continuing without thing1. It's not something only he can do, after all it's a pick-em league. Not that hard to run it, I'd imagine. I'm still going to be in.

I would still like to play. 

And, when a user is perma banned, all of their threads auto close so thats why it was closed. 

I'm in too. I love pick em leagues so it doesn't matter who's in charge of it, I'll still participate.

Snowdeath : Ok, the rules and gameplay are pretty simple and I will go over them once we get ready to start.

patar4097 : Aw, that's a shame. You did really good last year and I thought for sure you would join this year, but that's okay.

pacman1755 : Tru dat. We're going to keep it as simple as possible this year. Glad to see you will be joining.

Now, there really isn't a set number of people that we will need in order to start this league. Although there were 12 of us who said they would compete this year before thing1 got banned, we do not necessarily need that many. We already have 6 who have re-confirmed that they want in, so we can start this now, but the more the merrier. Also, the first official Pre-Season games are this Thursday ( August 13th - 7:30pm ) so if we are going to include the Pre-Season, then we need to start right away. Unfortunately, we won't be able to include the Hall of Fame Week game but I don't think it will be that important in the long run anyway. With that being said, I will now create the Pre-Season thread with all the rules and the first week of games.     

Kruzer : Count me in. Crazy about thing1, I guess I hadn't heard anything until now.

jparks34 : Good to hear. I got that Pre-Season thread up now so go ahead and make your picks when you get the chance.

I'm sorry, but there has been some complications... As our internet is down, and my mom's phone is about to run out of high speed data, I'm going to have to pull out of this one. Hope it doesn't throw a monkey wrench in the works.

lacktheshack13 : Awesome! Like I said before the Pre-Season has already started so go ahead and make your picks for the Saturday, Sunday, and Monday games in this thread ( Pre-Season Thread ). Be sure to get your picks in by the start of the first game, which is at 7:00pm EST ( 6:00pm CST ) and also make sure that you read the rules carefully. If you have any questions, then you can post them here in the Discussion Thread.
