Pokemon Ruby Destiny Rescue Rangers: Difficulty: 4
It was an extremely simple game that put you on track with the mission with hardly allowing you to stray a little bit from the actual mission. If you just fight everything you are suppose to your levels go up pretty fast, at some points you'll just overpower your opponent. And since none of the main 3 (Pikachu, Chikorita, and Torchic) do not evolve your leveling up takes much less time. You also go over a lot of the same routes, so none of the Pokemon on that route actually get anymore difficult. (Example) The members of your team will already be level 15, but the Pokemon remain level 2~7. None of the bosses even were that difficult, the AI of them is just like the first few trainers you meet on the beginning routes.

Depth: 8
Rescue Ranger did a great job for making an enjoyable story! I was hooked from the very start. Everything about the main story was near flawless, but after completing the 8 badges you get lost with your what you're actually doing. It took me some time before I figured out what I was actually suppose to do from then on, but even then it wasn't long before I got lost again. Details kind of slow down as you progress making I difficult to find out what your next action should be.
But going back to the main story and main routes to pass those missions. From the first mission I knew this game would be an actual ball. Nothing went wrong, the rival teams were very fun to interact with, and talking to the other Pokemon in the town. Going on journeys to find your friends that were also turned into Pokemon. Many parts of the story could have been improved, but if they made a second or maybe more games like this I would not be complaining.

Story: 10
As I was saying about the depth of the actual story, this is the same. The story could not be any better. There were many plot holes and things the were left unsaid, but with everything that was a flaw there was a greater feature that would over power it. Incorporation new Pokemon that would play as an enemy, and doubled as a legendary. Making heaven and hell actual places that you can get to! Even though the legendaries didn't live up to the name of legends, they were fun to discover.
Many plot holes occurred while playing, but they just appear that way to me. Like what happened to the rest of the main characters friends? He had 4 going in and we on we only managed to find 3? Every flaw has a better feature is what I said previously, which I still completely stand by what I said. Even though one of your friends is not in your group, you get to have 2 of your other friends on your team. I am not one for spoilers, so you'll have to play for yourself to find out who they are and what Pokemon they are represented as.

Addictiveness: 10
I said I was hooked from the start, and that is the truth. I could not stop playing once I began. This is my ideal feel for a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon style game. I never was a fan of the mystery dungeon games, but this game made me want to play every single one of them. Everything about that game will want you to play some more. Lacking the ability to catch Pokemon until you have obtained all 8 badges was kind of edgy for me, but still not liking that concept it kept me on track with the story rather than finding a new ideal team member.
When you begin your missions you normally have a set goal, but there are so many quests to do on the way to your mission. The game will never be called "tired" in my opinion, there seems to be something to do, even when you are lost. Getting to know your fellow team mates, brings out how a team should actually be. Honestly, the team is what makes the journey, not the mission. Playing as several different team mates that I normally would never use (e.g. Swellow, Chikorita, ect.) made me have a new feeling for them, I never felt the need to use one, but I became addicted to the whole idea of this team.

Sound: 8
For a majority of the game I didn't have my volume on. I accidentally turned it on while trying to turn my music on, and I hummed along with it. I loved the music, it may be a little toned, but that is the case with a lot of games. The different theme music that would go along with each area. After getting the 8 badges and having access to most of the areas; I decided to listen to each routes music while looking for my next mission/quest and each tune went perfectly along with each area. The newer games definitely beat it in sounds, but still a perfect fit for each new place to explore.

Graphics: 9
I could probably talk about the graphics for 5 hours straight. But forgetting the many graphical glitches that are hardly noticeable, everything from each detail made me fan-girl slightly. I love games that have a new graphic style, but this one had the perfect one that seemed to fit perfectly with the game. Obviously it was going to fit with each different route (e.g. Forests were green, mountains were a mahogany, ect.) especially all the detail in the tiles and aura of the whole game. Feeling like the area you were in. Nothing could beat the graphics of this game.
But like very other game there is always a few flaws. When in a lot of caves there would be glitches with the walls and some rocks wouldn't even register as rocks allowing me to just walk right through them. Random trees would just be sitting on the cave walls. I would notice a lot of he time you would find a glitch in the water while surfing, but I can't name any specifics. With these little glitches made it seem like the creator didn't feel the need to check it twice before actually sending it out. Of course there was a lot of effort put into this game, but sometimes the little things make it change for us.

Overall: 9.4
I would recommend this game to everyone. It was tireless, great story, went into a lot of depth, and was a breeze. Not being the toughest game, it would feel like a breeze on hot summer day. Only 0.6 away, because as all games do it had a lot of flaws and plot holes. A game is never a perfect 10, a little error always is better.

Nice work, especially for one of your first reviews. There was plenty of detail and it flowed nicely and was categorized well. Keep on writing.

Great job with this review! This is one hack that I really enjoyed playing. I think you did a great job with the whole review. You added plenty of details and you explained why you gave the game and categories the scores you did. Overall, for an early review, you did a fantastic job. I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with next.

Wow, this is your first review? Why is everyone better than I am

Anyway this is very solid material. Your structure is clear and you give ample details. However, considering the franchise you are evaluating, it would do good to compare it to other games so players can know what it is about. Also, do not be afraid of details. What are some of the plot holes? What are some of the tracks that got stuck in your head?
