There are different kinds of alcoholic beverages. There is hard liquor, beer, mixed drinks... and then there are malts. 

I would have to say that my favorite is a tie in between Smirnoff Ice and Mike's Hard Lemonade.

If I understand your definition of malt, there I can either for the lemonades I used to drink in Canada (Twister and the likes) or Smirnoff Ice. They are sweet, but not "disgustingly" like white Port

Colt '45 works every time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0pK5HmuCMBM I don't drink any more, but that stuff wasn't too bad. Mike's Hard Lime wasn't too bad for fruity flavored things. I didn't care for Hard Lemonade as much though. It got kind of sickening after a bit for me.

Ferdinand : The hard lime was my dad's favorite. He used to drink them all the time, but you can't get them here anymore.... Getting slightly off subject, I also really like the Angry Orchard ciders. Almost like an apple-ish champagne, but without as much of a bite.

I mean.... at 17, I can join the National Guard and get send over seas to give radicals moving, fleshy target practice, but I can't appreciate the art of a good bottle of Cabernet?
