Due to all the TdV going on, a little personal issue, the fact that is Friday and, above all, spending time for my staff role, I almost forgot that today is a very special day. Two years ago, EX Palen joined Vizzed.

For the first six months I was pretty inactive. Only when I started to get the hang of the site, and since I wanted to practice and improve my English, I started to write reviews, and also my first ever guide. It wasn't until a while later that one of my reviews got featured, which motivated me to write even more, eventually giving me a dozen more featured reviews.

Almost one year ago, a staff application was open, and I decided to enter, having nothing to lose. I applied for both review writer and guide writer, but didn't get more than 1 vote the first wave, so I tried again in the second one. This time, I got two votes, so I was given a staff position.

Since then, I've decided to make a name for myself by being an awesome writer. I've tried very hard during this year, and I still have even more ambitious projects coming up. I've also become a lot more active in forums, so much so that I'm one post short of the 500 milestone, even though I was at barely 50 when I was made staff.

Nothing much has happened in Vizzed for me. I plan to be active for some more years, and I have set my goal on becoming a local mod when my days as a writer are over. I also have in mind grabbing the Best Game Guide Writer award, and who knows if I can also place high for other awards.

For my third anniversary, I plan on having reached at least 1k posts and be around 25-30k CP.

At last, just wanted to say that I waited until this hour so it was effectively my second anniversary, since due to my timezone, I logged in in 4th July. Now that it's past 3 AM, I can finally post this and feel at peace.

Now comes the turn where I should summon a lot of people, but I'm going to pass. I don't feel close enough to anyone in this site, but I do have a special mention for three people.

EideticMemory : Maybe you won't see this, but you were the one that gave me that sole vote on the first app, so you need to be mentioned too. I didn't get promoted, but still you recognized my work over my popularity, and I appreciate it so much.

EX Palen : Wow man! That's awesome! Congrats on 2 great years of being on the site! I hope that we have you as an active member for many more years to come.

Well, congrats on staying here on Vizzed for a full 2 years! I hope it has been an enjoyable one! 

I've known you for about a year, I remember when you first got hired for your first staff job. 

I hope you stay around for many more years, and will be able to contribute more awesome guides to vizzed.

 

Jordanv78 : Well, you did notice me a few days ago in netplay lol. But yeah, time passes and it's incredible at which pace it does.

Barathemos : Actually, I have a guide in the works to break both the red jersey and yellow jersey records. Too bad I'm still not allowed to split guides, I would really love to see +25k words in daily yellow.

I think I'll never get tired of this site, knowing how much it has helped me. A daily login and a few posts here and there can always be made. Plus, I'm planning on holding this role for 30 more months at the very least, depending on how real life improves, so a lot of work is coming.

EX Palen : That's awesome man has it really been two whole years since you've been on here?! I remember when I was notified about one of your first reviews I believe with Eirinn and I looking over them for featuring and just responses in general. Glad you've had at least a nice time on the site for the past 2 years and hope it'll stay like that for your time on here you do great work and are a great member so hope you'll keep it up, glad to have you on board as staff. Just wanted to say that for ya; although my real reason for posting here is about Eniitan

I saw potential in you and I wanted to see how far you could improve, and I was right. dramatically you have improved a lot. I am glad that you are enjoying it. I hope to talk to you again real soon. sonicthehedgehog57 : It's awesome to see that many people noticed me a while ago, it really motivates me to not let anyone down. Also, seeing you post reviews even longer that some of my guides has also made me want to make more complete guides.

It was fun having Eniitan in our round table back in time. Real life is always a priority, I hope everything goes well for her.

Wow, so many milestone threads have been created recently! Congrats on staying here for 2 years! It's nice that people wanted to give you a chance to become staff and it happened, changing your experience on vizzed. Keep up the writing and I think you'd make a great local mod someday!

By the way, it's pretty amazing when someone becomes staff without being a trusted member first, even if the position doesn't require you to be a trusted member.

PacmanandMariofan : Precisely because I wasn't a trusted member is the reason why I went out to the terrace to yell "YEAH!". 

You yourself have been given this chance recently, so you can understand how much it can change anybody, not only here in Vizzed but also in real life.

Lol wow. When it was my first day of being a staff member, I kept checking my username and staff role 4 times to see if it was really true Yeah, becoming staff has changed my life in great ways.

Congratz on the 2 year anniverasry! Two years was actually about the amount of time it took for me to start posting here and becoming active on vizzed believe it or not. Anyways, congrats on the milestone and I do enjoy reading your game guides.
