Yes, a lot of people wanted to see a new Mystery Dungeon game to be announced and they all have got their wish. Nintendo has announced a new game to the sub-series which will be called "Super Mystery Dungeon" which some think it sounds like a bland name, but if you look at it (in the early 90's standpoint), if you add the word "Super" you bound that it would be the best one of the series or one of the best series, depending on how you look at it.

Yes I think they put super there for a reason think of great games like Super Contra,Super Castlevainia 4, and Super Metroid, and the other games with the word super in it. If they are doing what they I think they are doing by putting such a big title as super in it then this very well may be the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon series's redemption. I heard that Gates to Infinity was a test if that is true then they will probably take all the things that worked out of it and leave the ones that didn't with that game. Enough rambling I am so excited so much I will pre-order the heck out of that game if possible if not then I will buy it the day it comes out I must see if this is the game to surpass all the others including the legendary Explorers Saga if this game can do such a feat then there will be much rejoicing and I will send so much love mail to Nintendo and Chunsoft or at least to Nintendo because from what I have heard Chunsoft is a Japan only company and I don't think they would understand my language. So anyway super excited (No pun Intended) and as I say with all games I am hyped to get in my hands........I will wait for you.........

I absolutely loved the the DS mystery dungeon games, but was extremely disappointed with the latest installment in the series Gates to Infinity. I really hope that the developers will learn from their mistakes and create the perfect mystery dungeon experience on the 3ds. I'll definitely be preordering this new game hoping that they can redeem themselves.

Like gamerforlifeforever2, I am absolutely terrified. They screwed up Gates to Infinity, like, BIG time. I've already decided that I am only buying 3 more games from Nintendo: a Sinnoh remake, the new fire emblem, and this. They had better not screw it up. Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky was one of the best games I had ever played, so I went into GTI with super high expectations. Boy, was I disappointed. And as a result, I am going into this game with equally high, if not higher, expectations, as they have had a chance to fix their mistakes. And if they haven't...then I will feel all the more justified abandoning the monstrosity that Nintendo has become.

With so few details, and not even any screenshots or video to speak of, it's kind of hard for me to really form an opinion on it, other than hope it ends up as good as Explorers of Sky was, or better.
I actually wasn't as disappointed with gates to infinity as other people were, though it was the inferior of the series.

Ok, Nintendo has just released a trailer of the game, but it is in Japaneses. So, unless you understand Japaneses, you're not going to have a clue on what's being talked about, but looking at the visual parts of the video, it's going to be good.

You can select 2 of any of the staters from all 6 regions, Riolu, and/or Pikachu
