And to anyone else who celebrates Christmas for whatever reason.

Now, the point of this thread....

Anyone have any traditions that they've grown up with or anything else in particular that you like to do, or simply do because that's what your family does, around Christmas?

My family used to open 1 present on Christmas Eve. My mom would pick them out (because she knew which were the "big" presents) and we could open it and have it early. It usually kept us from getting up really early and opening presents before the sun came up.

So, any other traditions that people have?

I had the same tradition when I was a little. Being a kid during x-mas was too awesome but now... kinda blows cause half my family are being rude and dont even want to hang out on xmas with us so screw em. I even baught them all presents but I guess I'll be going back to walmart to return them and spend it all on myself

Oh well, I think I'll just watch Christmas Vacation and Home Alone and open a few gifts this year. Also enjoy seeing some of the family.

We use to have trees and lights and all that good stuff but times change when you get old. The feeling of xmas is great though and I get adrenaline just thinking about it

If any of you are children right now, seriously embrace it to the fullest you will miss childhood when you get older.

In my family we would put a Christmas tree up. We would open all of our preasents on Christmas day. After that we don't take it down until summer time because we don't feel like taking it down.

wow... until summer?

Our tree and decorations were down before classes started up in the new year. That's crazy.

Merry Christmas to you too!

Ho Ho Ho...what's the different between Santa and Tiger Woods? Santa stops after 3 "Hos". Sorry little Joke my ecoms. Teacher taught us.

Hm..anyways, I'm older now and we don't have much of the "Present" thing going on. My siblings and I just get money. Though it's sort of sad that my lil' bro (8 years old) doesn't celebrate it how I did when I was younger. But he's happy with the money he got.
