You want to go big in hunting? Are you too lazy to get outside and hunt the animals? Or, are you just scared of the Jaguars you could hunt? All of the above? That's fine. This is the game for you! You are trying to enter a hunting club/ order thing. To do this, you need to hunt the animals they tell you to. Simple enough. Join me as we discuss your career as a big game hunter!

Graphics: The game has worse graphics than other Wii games I have. But, it has good graphics still. There are minor problems with the textures in the grass, trees, and various other things, but the animals are almost flawless! There are no issues with the shape, texture, movement, or anything else. Although the Wii isn't known for good graphics. (That's the entire reason for the Wii U.) None of the games have an HD style, but this games does well, considering the reputation they have. I am still impressed with the game, but not because of the graphics!
The game has okay graphics at best, but that's still okay. I give it a 7/10.

Sound: The game has good sound, and they even found a way to make sound important to gameplay. If you touch the little pieces of wood on the ground, it can alert the animals, making the hunt be impossible. (This is also a game over, but don't worry, you can restart it from the beginning of the part you failed.) There is no music, but that's typical for a hunting game, because it would distract, and concentration is needed for the hunt. It really has good sound, even down to each animal, all sounds are realistic and cool!
I give the game a 9/10 for sound.

Addictiveness: The game is really fun to play. There are medals to earn for each kill/ hunt. You get new guns for each medal you improve. (Up to a certain point.) There are challenges, which are really fun to do. The game is addictive, I reset the game twice, so I could unlock everything again. This should show how fun I found the game. There is also a mode to play with friends. I really found this game fun to play, over, and over.
The game is really fun to play over, and over. I give it an 8/10.

Story: The game really has a weak story, but I'll count it as N/A, only because there is only an intro, and an end. There is no story in between the two. It's fun, but as with some other categories that I will do/ have done, there is little to do for this category. I will stop talking about story, but here is a brief thing about the "story." You are trying to join the worlds elite hunting club. To do this, you need to withstand several "trials/ hunts." This is actually pretty simple, and the story is almost not there, as you can tell. I just gave the entire game premise.
I give the game the N/A rating, because it's a good game, but Hunting games don't focus on story at all.

Gameplay/ Control: The game handles smoothlyish. There are some problems with the sensor, but I'm not sure if that is because of the game, or the Wii... I really like the way it handles, once you learn to trick the movement, it's okay. There are some small problems when you try to turn to the sides... This comes in the form of a red X that shows that it's not recognizing your movements. To cure this, just move into the screen a little (If you are trying to turn right, and it gives that, just turn the control a little farther left, and it will comply to your command.) it's a minor problem, but I still think that it needs improvement.
They could have done better with the X problem. I give the game a 7/10.

Depth: There actually isn't that much to do. You have some quick, arcade like modes, and the main campaign. That's it. Nothing special, but that doesn't make the game boring. I still loved the game, but depth really isn't it's forte. (I know, I make the game sound terrible, but I keep saying I love it. It's still true though.) I'm being really critical with this game, because they could do so much better. A $1 game I got (Also Cabela's) had no story, but it seemed to have more depth than this game.
As you could tell, there are only two modes. For that reason I give it a 7/10.

Difficulty: The game isn't really that hard, until the final part of the final mission. There are several bears, lion (feline) type animals you need to take care of, but if you use the right hardware, there is no problem. Sometimes, it can get annoying if you accidentally fire your weapon, the animals will run away, which gives you only a few seconds to take care of the animal. (Usually this ends in disaster.) Rarely will you not get your game though. There is the outlining of the vital organs, which really is disappointing, because you can't turn that feature off. (I would rather have to figure out where the heart really is.) Other than that, you can use "Hunter Sense" to make it disappear, but you still have an outline of the animal. (It changes the color to a green.)
The game really wasn't a challenge, which is sad, because it's a hunting game, not a simple shoot anywhere to kill. It gets an 8/10.

The game is fun, but it has many problems. Really it's kind of a disappointment to the name Cabela's, but nonetheless, I still like the game! I give it an overal rating of 8/10.

Nice review I love the Cabela series. And for the wii if you have the gun it makes it even better. And as I read your review I found it very fair and to the point. For the most part I haven't seen to many hunting reviews or games for that matter.  Again great job thought your ratings where right on point.
