Join me as we take over Europe using various countries during the Napoleonic wars. Use the Prussians, the British, French, Spanish, Russian, Turkish, and many more to take over all of Europe. Make sure you have enough food though, because as soon as you run out of food your soldiers start dropping like flies. Make sure to conserve Coal too, because your guns will be useless otherwise. Soldiers can become deserters if they lose the captain, the flag-bearer, and/ or the drum-boy. Use the popular tactics to take over the battlefield, use cannons, engineers, or cavalry! Join me as we discuss the gem of Real-Time-Strategy games!

Graphics: The game has really good graphics, especially for a RTS... Most games do okay with graphics, but they don't really work at being detailed, such as Rome: Total War. (It was free for weekend on Steam) The graphics compared to that are amazing. Each soldier has a detailed weapon; the colors of the uniforms are brilliant! I couldn't ask for a better RTS game for these reasons.
Because I really appreciate the amount of detail, the realistic animations, and the great landscapes, I give this a 10/10.

Sound: I can't remember the music, which means it wasn't that good, but I did like the sounds each and every one weapon made. Realistic, not over-the-top type sounds. The people even scream when they start charging in with Bayonets! But really the sounds seem about normal for a RTS game, which means it gets an average rating... It didn't stand outside of the rest of the games out there, no spectacular soundtrack, no special sounds...
Because the game really just has average sounds, I give it an 8/10. I found the sounds good, but they weren't much better than other games in this category.

Addictiveness: The game is really addictive, you have so much to do, so many ways to do it. You can use a wide variety of troops, without going overboard. There really is so much to do that this game becomes addictive. You can use many tactics, and just change the country you use, not to mention that you can do other things, which I'll go into detail with in the Depth section...
I found the game fun to play, after I beat the Europe take over campaign with every country they have. Because of this I give it a 9/10.

Story: Common among RTS games is the lack of a story. I give it not a low rating, because it stays Historically accurate still. The story could have been made, but I find this trend very common among Strategy games.
I liked the game, but sadly this isn't a game driven by story. I give it a 4/10.

Depth: You can take over the same piece of land many ways. You can cause a rebellion, and take it over from the rebels. Then the normal attack, which you can use many other ways... Take over the battlefield with cannons, have engineers build something to help defend, charge with the cavalry! Your the commander of this army, it's your call! I really enjoy this game, because you have to look at your resources, but you don't gather your own, like in Age of Empires, you have to take over land to get them. (Each piece of land has a different resource it makes.) It is truly amazing what you can do. This game is addictive, because of the depth put into the game.
I found the game refreshing, so many ways to do everything. It is truly amazing. 8/10

Difficulty: The game can get difficult, but really it is just how good you are at taking the resources you need. If you don't take over bread producing sections, your troops die, it's that simple. This makes each playthrough unique, because you may not take the same pieces of land... Making it harder, or easier. The resources are really half of the battle, the rest is just your way of attacking. This game has a hard time getting a specific number to put it into, because you have the variation strategies and lands, making each time you beat it different.
Because the game has so many lands, it really depends on where you start, and what civilization you choose. 7/10.

Overall: This is one of my favorite RTS game ever, it is better than Age of Empires, I, II, and III. It is even more fun than Blitzkrieg II! This game rises above other Real Time Strategy games, and becomes the king of them! Overall I give the game a 9.6/10... This may not be an average score, but it's what I like about it! (It gets a higher rating because I loved the game!)
