Looking for a new anime to watch. I was told that Ranma is a pretty good one. Has anyone watched Ranma before? 

I have not seen that, though I don't watch anime that often. The ones that I would suggest are Eyeshield 21 and Persona 4/Golden. I really like both of them.

Alright I will have to say from the first episode it actually is really neatly animated, And it's not super boring there are some fight scenes so I thought that was cool. Also the panda? what the heck is with that haha. Probably a chinese thing I don't know yet.

The dubs for all of them are good to if you prefer them over subs.

I've never actually heard of Ranma so I can't really give you an opinion on that sorry. You could just watch the first episode and see how it goes from there I suppose.

FaithFighter : Anime is pretty much cartoons made in Japan centered around teens and adults. Thats a pretty brief explanation, and if you like cartoons you should start watching some anime and see if you like it. Like most things though, theres all kinds of anime, so theres some you may or may not like, just look for anime based on genre and you might find something good

FaithFighter : Hey there.. I have to apologise for the late reply, my take on anime would be. A style of animation originating in Japan most likely... a few decades ago. It has improved and varied over time in art style Quality and appearance.

Some popular anime include Pokemon, Dragon ball, and naruto. I hope you enjoy the info.

Blubcreator : Ranma is an old school anime that was on tv many years ago. I don't really expect most people to remember that anime. But for the ones who watched it during that time too. I've heard of ranma its a good anime to watch but not one of my fav. Its among ones like old school pokemon, digimon, sailor moon, dragonball z and all other anime that was aired during the 90's. give it a go to see if you like it or not.

I havn't had much time to watch more Ranma yet but thank you for you suggestions.

I have watched both yu gi oh and beyblades and I enjoy them both. But out of the two I couldn't choose a favourite, they are unique on their own way. I like the sounds of the ones you mentioned. Hopefully I can take some time when I am not busy to watch some of them.

 and i would sudjest and clannad and clannad after story (second season)for dramma,and comedy sometimes

Some suggestions;

- Hunter X Hunter 2012 (Does get a bit messy later on)

- Hajime no Ippo

- One Piece

- Yu Yu Hakusho

- Zoids (any one but Fuzors)

- Kingdom

- Magi

- Berserk (this is 18+ for sure, pretty hardcore so be prepared if you want to watch it)

The first four are similar to Dragon Ball Z but the last 4 are different, but still good and I'd recommend them.

RockmanXLan : If you enjoy comedy anime with a bit of action on the side, with very interesting and memorable characters, you have to watch Baka & Test: Summon the Beast. It is so funny, and so easy to binge-watch. There's only 13 episodes (not including the OVA), as well as a second season (13 episodes as well). Look it up, I assure you, if you're into that kind of style, you will definitely love it. If you don't like that kind of style well ... check it out anyway, but I'd say if you don't like it by episode 2-3 you might not like the rest. And even though episode 6 is my favorite (as it's just great joke after great joke), it wouldn't be worth sitting through something you don't like just to see. However, even if you like it but don't really know if you want to keep watching, just wait till episode 6, you'll want to keep watching. Frankly, I was hooked by episode 2.

There is so much anime out there! To recommend a few:

*note: those first 3 are mainly comedy with the typical dramatic plot twist that is interesting.

My personal fave which I need to finish : Wolfs Rain
It is like a fantasy type drama adventure.

Lastly two honorable mentions: Cowboy Bepop and Neon Genesis Evangelion
both of which have interesting story lines. I have watched more of cowboy than neon but, I found them both to be interesting and
I will finish them both eventually. They are more like sci-fi.

Ok my first recommendation is an anime called Cowboy Bebop. It's a classic and it's just, awesome. Watch the dub as it is one of the best dubbed anime out there.

Ok what else what else, oh ya Kino's Journey is another good one.
From what I've heard Black Lagoon is a good one but I believe it's a 18+ one so... watch at your own risk I guess.

I guess I could also recommend a anime called Scrapped Princess, but it is a old one and no longer being released.

RockmanXLan : Have you tried Megaman: star force, or megaman: nt warrior? Not sure if that technically counts, but the website said it was an anime.

I would defiantly recommend the seven deadly sins, also known as nanatsu no taizai, I can't really sum it up quickly but it's defiantly my top anime of the season so far.
