I'd like your interpretation of God. When someone says God, what or who do you think of? Is God a 'who' or 'what' to you? Maybe something else? Give it some thought. Try to define God as best you can in at least some detail.
If you comment, please try not to let other comments influence your ideas, as I'd like your own raw definition. It may work best if you post your comment before you read others.
Also, please don't criticize anyone, as it isn't an answer you can get wrong and it's counter-productive in understanding this aspect of a person. Feel free, however, to ask questions and offer input.

a-sassy-black-lady :  There is only one God.  The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.  The Creator of the universe.  There is no other.

Isaiah 44:6 - “Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel, And his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts: ‘I am the First and I am the Last; Besides Me there is no God.

Romans 11:33 - Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!

Basically what it comes down to, if you are able to define God, then your god is not big enough.  He is unsearchable.  He cannot be defined, interpreted or Googled.

Isaiah 55:9 - “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.

God is our divine and perfect Creator and Savior.

I think that about sums up everything.  Using so few words was definitely a challenge though and I had to think about it awhile to think of everything. Thank you for the challenge.  

GOD is the omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent one that created the entire universe, and set all its laws and boundaries. GOD a person, but beyond our human potential. GOD is real; HE is love; He is holiness. He is everything but evil. HE loved us even after our sin. GOD is a trinity much like a human being. We were created in HIS image. We are body, soul, and spirit. HE is GOD the FATHER (soul) GOD the SON (body) And GOD the HOLY SPIRIT (spirit). The trinity is not really hard to explain when we use the clues that HE left behind for us. GOD loved us so much that HE was willing to sacrifice HIMSELF to bring us back to HIM. HE is and always was involved in creation, and the history of humankind. However, the ways HE is involved may be subtle--which is why many people claim that they have never seen HIM work. They never saw. HE really does work in small ways...but these little things often have ripple effects. Although I used the body-soul-spirit analogy to explain the trinity. It may not be the best. An easier way to think about it may be as a team. With GOD the FATHER as the leader. The HOLY SPIRIT as HIS MESSENGER, and GOD the SON as the way for us to understand that HE understands full well the needs and limitations of being human. It may not be a perfect explanation; but it is what I could think of to explain HIM. It is really hard to explain someone who is above everything--including our understanding and comprehension. There are some questions that come about that we as humans do not have the capacity to understand. Like believing that GOD had no beginning and has no end. That is simply a concept that defies all human intelligence and philosophy. So describing and defining GOD can be difficult in detail.

A being of great power, who had some hand in the creation of the universe. 
Above the restraints of other life,  and exempt from the moral restraints of humanity's, and his own,  laws. 

God is a creation of people that answers the questions where we come from, why we're here, and what happens when we die.  Other gods were created to answer other unknowns.  Most notably the Greeks and Romans invented gods to explain volcanoes, tidal waves, droughts, the sun and the moon, and so on.

We know what happens now.  Those gods are gone.  Death and life are massively huge and tough for people to wrap their heads around.  It's baffling and scary to think none of this matters after we die so there's a creation of a god which benevolently ignores us and lets things happens both good and bad.

God is a creature comfort for people to find something bigger than themselves to belong to.

I think a lot of people don't understand the difference between definitions and descriptions... or am I being too technical? Sassy, could you clarify?  I mean, if descriptions fit what you want, I could have easily said a lot more. XD
