This entry into the Suki Fanfic was inspired by A song from the Cynic Project.

http://sonic.tcpmusic.com/

To hear that song as you read this, or as an entry to get into the mood, please scroll down in the Box until you

see the following:

Ice Cap (Vocal Piano)

And there's your song.

I hope that this will help you look into the past and developement of the Character Suki, as she was.

This should add some depth the story, I hope that you enjoy this heartfelt input to the saga.

And now, into the fanfic. . . .

------------------

*music please*

Suki placed her right hand on the window pane. She tilted her head up to look outside. Her sad eyes looked dreamily into the distance.

It was snowing outside, she was so cold.

So cold.

But it was so much better than the Ifrit Dimension. The heat and constant death threats there made her sick along with the overpushings of their captain.

But enough of thinking about that.

I love where I am.

Suki closed her eyes as she hugged herself, looking down upon the floor, he quills swaying left and right softly like the feathers of a mother goose, softly ready for her baby gooselings.

All the thoughts of an uncertain teenage girl filled her head.

About her future.

No one to love.

At all.

No freedom.

Only chains.

Chains of despair.

Despair which takes away all hope from a young, optimistic, yet uncertain girl.

Suki loved coming to this place and going outside. It was so much nicer than that horrible place- the Ifirt Dimension.

Here, she felt. . . somehow. . . that she was home. Even the snowflakes danced around her as she would spin in circles looking up to the heavens. Small expressions on their faces as they came floating down like children having just been born awaiting a truely wonderful future in their existence. She was jealous of the snowflakes, they had a freedom that she had never had, which is why she loved them, for they embodied who she really wanted to be. Who she was deep down inside.

She could feel it.

It was hard staying here. She didn't want to stay here. Each revelation of their plans for her had widened her ambience. A curiosity of what would become of her. She would be destroyed. Used as a tool. Forever bent to their will and forced to serve in their division of evil.

No way out was set before her that would end in true freedom, for this cold place, it was her only way out. She could run now. Just run out endlessly into the snow, not caring.

Not caring about Chrissy. Narabot. Omyceid. Any of them. Some pains were so deeply lingering that it could drive one insane.

When she looked out the window, she saw freedom. She could leave.

Endlessly running into the blanket of spanning white, feeling the cool breeze into face and flakes melting on her expression. She wanted to let go. Let it all go and let it all out. Just run, and be free. . . for once.

In the beautiful white snow calling her name.

She could end it all now.

Run for her life.

Taking it with her- and ending it. . .

In the cold white snow.

A cold bleak wind blowing and incoming blizzard could end her existence before anymore misery could come upon her.

And for the last moments of her life, she could express her true feeling. Love in the snow, tears freezing on her face and falling off into the cotton blanket, leaving holes in the perfect bright consuming the ground.

A life wanting to run free.

And in happiness, it would all end.

Painlessly as she would become numb.

A cold death with a smile implanted on her face.

It would end all misery after that.

No more suffering. No more wondering what her purpose was beyond existence as a slave.

No more regretting the loss of another person who might have actually cared about her.

No more living like she was dead.

For when life is a nightmare, then death is a dream come true, and a peace that never ends.

It was one of those moments where the mind considers the insane, and yet it seems like the only way out.

She sensed no hope outside that door as she gripped ahold of the rubber handle on the door. She could do it. If she

did die, then she could become a ghost here, right?

Like the ghosts who Narabot's division had faced and reported. For the white horn was guarded by these spirits, and those who died here apparently joined their ranks.

Another insane idea?

What did it matter?

If she was dead, then she would find a real freedom that she had lacked her whole life.

Her happiness.

It was a mask.

A mask worn to encourage those around her who also wanted to be free.

But right now, it was cracked, like a splinter down a dried pot sick of getting filled with scraps over and over again.

She had been keeping herself looking happy to keep the others encouraged.

But even now. Could she keep going?

Living in despair.

So many escape plans.

Failed.

Chrissy was even more persistent than her.

She remembered the first time that they had met. Chrissy was so optimistic. And they were ready to do anything that they had to do together.

Living with these people wasn't so bad- at first.

But their true plans became apparent over time.

And Suki feared them.

Now, she had to get out.

And she knew that they were keeping her around for something.

And if she was dead, then they would fail at whatever they were trying to do.

Keeping her around for.

Suki began to press against the door.

Something stopped her.

You have a purpose nudged a motive beyond comprehendum in the back of her mind.

My time. . . it isn't here. . . yet. . . she thought again to herself. . .

It was like a heaviness came over her shoulder.

Could she even move?

She was tired.

Couldn't think right.

That last mission had exhausted her.

Yet the though of an endless freedom gave her energy.

She couldn't leave the selfish way.

Chrissy needed her.

And everyone.

Everyone.

Has a purpose. . . for living?

Yes.

But what was it?

They just have to hang on.

And keep looking for it.

Someday things would change.

There had to be a reason for all this, she knew it. Even though Narabot was a jerk, he was right about that.

She knew that he cared about her more than he showed.

Suki let go of the door.

She could go on.

On.

Into whatever came her way. There had to be a reason to keep living.

And that reason was hope.

Hope in a better future.

Goodbye Sharaku.

I love you're snowy beauty, and cool wonder.

But I must go on.

Ifrit is waiting foe me, but when I get back.

I'm going to find a way out.

Then no one will stop me and my friends.

Me.

Chrissy.

Or Narabot.

I know that he's really a good guy underneath all that metal.

Then we'll be free.

And you'll see.

And wish.

That you had never used me.

Sword legion :

I... I can't even....you did so wonderfully at capturing the emotion of the entire scene.

I would have never though you could write something so...

so emotionally moving, and I don't even hardly know the character.

I will very anxiously wait for you to finish the fanfic so I can read the entire thing in one sitting..
