I have followed your Sims 3 disk error thread and downloaded and extracted the files and put them into the bin folder.   However, as soon as the game loads to the family start pop up I would click to play I get another pop up that says "No game disk found, Please insert the disk"  The disk is in my DVD Rom.

I also read your thread to disable the DLA but I do not have a DLA tab in my DVD Rom properties.  

If you have another way to run this game around this disk error I'd  appreciate it.
