Im trying to pick who I think will win each division in the NFL this year, feel free to post your thoughts.

NFC East: Philadelphia Eagles - The division should be down again this year. Cowboys have downgraded on the defense, Romo will still be Romo. The Giants are still on the decline as well, and the Redskins are really the only competition, depending on how RG3 can bounce back. Desean Jackson leaves Philly and goes to Washington, but the combination of the Eagles running game and consistency of Foles at QB should lead to a division title.

NFC North: Chicago Bears - Yes, in what won't be a popular pick, I'm picking the Bears to dethrone the Packers. I know Aaron Rodgers is healthy, but the Bears host probably the most dynamic receiving duo in the league with Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery, and I think with another year working with the duo, Cutler will have the best year of his career. I'm a big fan of their first round pick, Kyle Fuller, who can help the defensive backfield immediately. The Lions and Vikings will both struggle again this year, despite having the best WR in the league and best RB in the league on their rosters. What a shame.

NFC West: Seattle Seahawks - It will likely come down to the wire again between the Hawks and 49ers, but I have give the edge to Seattle again. If Percy Harvin can still healthy, and that's a big if, Seattle will be a force on offense. The defense will keep the Seahawks in just about any game regardless. Now they just need to get the Marshawn Lynch holdout settled. For the 49ers, I worry about the health of the defense. Aldon Smith says he's good to go, but we'll see. And they likely won't have Navarro Bowman until midseason, which if he is back in healthy could make a difference towards the end.

NFC South: New Orleans Saints - It pains me to put them here, I'm no Saints fan, but they're the most complete team in the division. I think the Panthers will be on the decline, no way do they recreate the success of last season. I also believe the Falcons will bounce back in a big way and contend for a wild card spot. They upgraded the offensive line, which that and injury helped out the disaster that was 2013. But I think they won't be able to stay healthy long enough or have added enough just yet to win the division, coming just shy. Expect to see the Saints around 12-4 and Falcons around 10-6.

NFC Playoffs
1. New Orleans
2. Seattle
3. Chicago
4. Philadelphia
5. Green Bay
6. Atlanta

AFC South: Indianapolis Colts - Yes, I'm a homer here, lifetime Colts fan. But the Colts are the class of the weakest division in football. Colts get veteran WR Reggie Wayne back and healthy, and Andrew Luck will shine in his third season. Losing RB Vick Ballard again to a season ending injury is devastating, but RB Trent Richardson should have a much improved 2014 campaign. Can't get much worse than the 2013 disaster. And veteran Ahmad Bradshaw will be good for some major carries as well, but he can't hold the whole rushing attack on his own.

AFC North: Pittsburgh Steelers - Hard to pick here, the division is almost certainly going to have three teams only seperated by 1 or 2 losses. I think the Ravens are going to have too many distractions early, and Ray Rice is already showing signs of decline anyway. I'm going to pick Pittsburgh 10-6, Bengals 10-6, and Ravens 9-7.

AFC West: Denver Broncos - The Chiefs will have the biggest overhaul decline in the NFL season. They were extremely lucky to start the season 9-0, and things won't be like that this season. It will be hard to overcome blowing a 38-10 lead to the Colts in the playoffs last year. Broncos are pretty much a guarantee to win the division, but I don't think they will contend for a super bowl this season.

AFC East: New England Patriots - This is going to be the year of the Patriots, I'm sad to say. They've been right there every season, in the hunt in the playoffs, but this year they will get over the hump and beat the Broncos in the playoffs, and make their sixth super bowl under Tom Brady, and in my prediction, bring home a fourth super bowl. The addition of Darrell Revis at CB is the move they needed to get over the hump. Gronk should be healthy and close to 100% by the start of the season. Sky is the limit for the Pats and this could be their last chance to win another one for Brady.

AFC Playoffs
1. New England
2. Denver
3. Indianapolis
4. Pittsburgh
5. Cincinnati
6. San Diego

jparks34 : I don't see very many surprises here. In my opinion, the biggest surprise you have is the Steelers winning the AFC North. I think the Bengals might not only win the division, but they may even have a chance to go deep in the playoffs this upcoming year. But like any other team, they have to stay healthy. If they stay healthy, I think Cincinnati will take the AFC North crown in 2014. All your other picks seem pretty good to me for the most part, except maybe the Eagles. I'm still not sold on Nick Foles. If he starts a full 16 game season this year, that will be an accomplishment in itself. I think the NFC East is loaded with offense, and no team in the division has a defense. If Foles can perform this year like he did last year, then he's for real.

As for your Super Bowl pick, the Seahawks are WAY overrated and will not repeat as NFC champs, in my opinion. They might have the best defense in football, but they have no offense. Yeah, they have Russell Wilson and Marshawn Lynch, but that's it. And being in the toughest division in football, they might not even win their division. With that said, I like the Patriots in the AFC, but I can't say in the NFC. I have yet to make my annual predictions. But yours, for the most part, look fairly good.

MattyIce :  I highly debated picking the Bears to win the NFC.  They're kind of my darkhorse this year, but I kind of went safe and picked Seahawks.

I will try to be unbiased and as realistic as possible based on what I know as of now.

AFC East: New England Patriots

I see this as a relatively weak division, besides the Patriots, to be completely honest. The Dolphins are not much of a team, even though they have a few good players. The New York Jets are decent, but they still need time to work together as a team; they have had a lot of changes the past few years. And the Buffalo Bills really have not made much of a sound the past few years, and I do not see this changing this year. I predict the Patriots win their division with a 12 - 4 record, while going 5 - 1 in the division, only loosing to the Jets in the first match up.

AFC North: Baltimore Ravens
Let me start off by saying that the Cleveland Browns are the Browns. It does not matter that they have Johnny Manziel; they are still going to be a 4 - 12 kind of team until they start building a team, instead of a team around a player that will be gone by the time they have a few pieces in place.
With that being said, I still think the Pittsburgh Steelers are still too old of a team. They need to start rebuilding the team. They are getting there, but they are not there yet.
The Cincinnati Bengals are the black horse of this division. They suck for a few years, then they win the division one year, do decent the next year, then go back to being a 6 - 10 team for a few more years until they have another good season. The Bengals won the division last year, so if the pattern keeps up, they are going to be the team that might grab one of the Wild Card Spots, but I do not see them winning the division.
I predict the Baltimore Ravens will win this division. They have a relatively young team, they have made a lot of off season moves, and they are looking good going into the Pre - Season. I think this year they will win the division, and go back to the Playoffs, going 10 - 6 , maybe 11 - 5 at best, while going 4 - 2 in the division, loosing the Steelers once and the Bengals once.

AFC South: Indianapolis Colts
This is another relatively weak division. You have the Jaguars who are still building. You have the Titans that have barely made a sound since their Super Bowl run years ago. And then the Texans. I am not sure about them. The could be a surprise Wild Card team, but I do not see them winning the Division. I have the Colts going 11 - 5 at best, 9 - 7 at worst to win the division, while going 4 - 2 in the divisional games.

AFC West: Denver Broncos
You have the Chiefs, who I do not see making too much a noise with Andy Reed gone, and not much going for them. You also have the Raiders, whose fans still think this is the 1970's and '80's. As for the Chargers, they are getting better, but I do not see them making much of a peep in terms of the division standings, maybe ending up in a tight race, but beating out the Chiefs for 2nd. I have the Broncos taking this one, going... 12 - 4, maybe 13 - 3, depending on how the season starts for them. They will more than likely go 5 - 1 in the division, loosing only to the Chargers thanks to a phenomenal 2 minute drill brought to you by Phillip Rivers.

What the AFC seeding will look like:
1. Broncos
2. Patriots
3. Colts
4. Ravens
5. Bengals
6. Texans

Ravens defeat the Broncos again, in the AFC Championship, with a score of 34 - 24.

NFC East: Philadelphia Eagles
The Dallas Cowboys  signed Tony Romo for another 5 years, if I am not mistaken? Well, there goes 5 more years of Cowboys fans hope of going to the Playoffs, unless they somehow get a Wild Card spot, only to lose in the first round. The Giants have not done much since they beat the Patriots in the Super Bowl awhile back, and I do not see that changing with the way the younger Manning has been playing. The Redskins are still trying to get back into shape like they were during RG3's Rookie Campaign, however, they might give the Eagles a run for their money. I think the Eagles will not do great, but still will win the division by going 9 - 7, going an even 3 -3 in the division, loosing to everybody once, and beating everybody once.

NFC North: Green Bay Packers
In my opinion, another relatively weak division. You have the Bears, who try to do something each year, and sometimes do, but they never amount to much. Then you have the Lions who have been acting like Kittens the past 10 years or so. The Vikings have a few good games each year, but with Christian Ponder at the helm, I can not see them winning the division, even if Adrian Peterson does rush for over 2,000 yards. I could possible see them getting a Wild Card Spot, but not winning the Division. That leaves us with the Green Bay Packers. With Aaron Rodgers, they may just squeak of this season alive. I have them winning the division with a respectable 10 - 6 record, while going... 4 - 2 in the division, loosing to the Vikings once and the Bears once.

NFC South: Carolina Panthers
This is my surprise division. I mean, you can practically rule out the Buccaneers, no questions asked. The Saints were on a roll, but they have not been doing well enough, at least, in my opinion, to win the division this year. They could make a very good Wild Card Team though. There is also the matter of the Atlanta Falcons. While they may be featured on the T V show, I actually see this hurting them, or at least hindering them, in the long run. They might have an 8 - 8 kind of season, but I do not see them doing much better than that. So, I have the Panthers as the surprise winners this year. They have been creeping up on everybody lately, each year getting a little bit better. I think this year is their year. I see them going 11 - 5 , while going 4 - 2 in the division, loosing to the Falcons in a surprise blowout and the Saints in a back and forth nail biter that could go either way the entire game.

NFC West: San Francisco 49ers
This is a toss up division. You have the Rams that are a 6 - 10 team at best. You have the Cardinals that have not really been on the scene since they lost to the Steelers in the Super Bowl, in stunning fashion, might I add. Then you have the Seahawks; they had issues they had with Marshawn Lench and his trying to hold out to get his contract extended. That will ultimately hurt the team's relationship with one another in the long run, causing them to not win the division, and losing it to the 49ers. I have the 49ers winning the division, going 12 - 4, while going 4 - 2 in the division, loosing only to the Seahawks by a game winning field goal, and a surprise lose to the Cardinals, maybe.

What the NFC seeding will look like:
1. 49ers
2. Panthers
3. Packers
4. Eagles
5. Seahawks
6. Vikings

Seahawks beat the Panthers, going back to the Super Bowl, with a score of 37 - 26.

Super Bowl Prediction at the start of the Pre - Season? Ravens beat the Seahawks in overtime after a Seahawks Field to force overtime, by a score of 44 - 41, The Seahawks will have to settle for a field goal in overtime, but the Ravens will get a touchdown to win the game.
I will try to be unbiased and as realistic as possible based on what I know as of now.

Pretty bold super bowl pick, lol.  There has never been an overtime in a Super Bowl, sure would be entertaining though.  Only things I really disagree with are the Panthers and Texans.  I think the Panthers will not be anywhere near as good as last year, and the Texans are still a little ways away. They are a mess at QB, I don't think signing Ryan Fitzpatrick will lead to anything special.

Okay. I will try and make this short and sweet. Here are my predictions with a brief description why I'm picking them.

AFC NORTH - Cincinnati Bengals - Not only am I picking this team to win the division, this may be the year they might win a playoff game or two. I believe this team is in a similar boat as my Atlanta Falcons. Its do or die for them. Like thing1 said, the Browns will be the Browns. The Steelers may have a chance to make some noise, but not quite as much as the Bengals. I think Pittsburgh will take the second Wild Card spot (#6 seed), however. I don't see the Ravens winning more than 7. With what is going on with Ray Rice, I just don't see them going anywhere without him.

AFC SOUTH - Indianapolis Colts - Easy pick. There is plenty of potential talent in this division, but this talent is also very young. The Texans and even the Jaguars have definitely made their teams a lot better from the year before. The Titans just have way too many question marks, in my opinion.

AFC EAST - New England Patiots - Another easy, safe pick. The Pats might be the only team in the division with a winning record. The Jets aren't going anywhere. I think you'll see Geno Smith and Michael Vick both start 8 games this year. Geno is definitely the better choice of the two, but after last year, I wouldn't be surprised if you see Vick start a couple. The Bills are still rebuilding, but they seem to be heading in the right direction. Give them maybe one more year. The Dolphins probably have the best chance to unseat the Pats, but they still won't even be close.

AFC WEST - Denver Broncos - Wow, another easy pick. Unless Peyton Manning gets hurt, I don't see anyone stopping him. I will give the Chargers a Wild Card spot, most likely the first one (#5 seed). I really like Keenan Allen. Him and Philip Rivers will have fantasy fans drooling all over the place this year. Oh, by the way, they still have Antonio Gates, too. I think the Chiefs aren't going to be as good as they were last year. They're defense won't be as good, either. The Raiders made some good moves, picking up Matt Schaub and MJD. They still have Darren McFadden, so their run game has a lot of potential.

AFC PLAYOFF SEEDS:
1. Denver Broncos
2. New England Patriots
3. Indianapolis Colts
4. Cincinnati Bengals
5. San Diego Chargers
6. Pittsburgh Steelers

AFC CHAMPIONSHIP: Patriots beat Broncos (who guessed that matchup, right)

NFC NORTH - Green Bay Packers - Its hard for me to NOT pick this team to win the divison. The Bears will absolutely contend for the division, but they'll come up short and take the second Wild Card spot. The Lions still don't have any secondary. Expect most of their games to be high scoring. The Vikings have one player I really like, Cordarelle Patterson. Him and Adrian Peterson still won't be enough to contend, however.

NFC SOUTH - Atlanta Falcons - I promise you, I am not biased here. Every year, I make a surprise pick that is probably not going to happen. Well, this is my surprise pick. Its a surprise pick because I have these guys going all the way to the Super Bowl. If these guys can stay healthy all year, they have one of the most talented rosters in the NFL. The Saints will probably have the same record, but the Falcons will own a tiebreaker, and the Saints will have to settle for the first Wild Card spot. The Panthers have a great defense, and no offense. Cam Newton no longer has anyone to throw to. The Bucs will definitely be better than last year. Lovie Smith is going to really improve that defense, and that could make them contenders for the division.

NFC EAST - Washington Redskins - Honestly, I have no idea what will happen in this division. Here is what I did to pick the Redskins. I matched up the Eagles and the Redskins first. I flipped a coin. Out came Washington. I did the same thing with the Giants and Cowboys. Out came Dallas. So here is what I did to pick between the Redskins and Cowboys. I flipped a coin. You know the rest. And there is no way I can talk about each team in this division. Are each of them pretty good? Yes. Are each of them pretty bad? Yes. I DON'T KNOW! I made my pick...moving on.

NFC WEST - San Francisco 49ers - Ah yes. The toughest division in football. This division will be beating themselves around all year so much that only one of them will make the playoffs, and its time for the 49ers to get revenge. The Seahawks (like the Panthers) will have no offense. Their defense might be really good, but for them to go anywhere, the defense might have to score for them. Not only will the Seahwaks not win the division or make the playoffs, they will come in 3rd place in their division. This is largely in part of the Rams. I think the Rams may even win the division, but I picked the 49ers to be safe (again). My favorite defense in the NFL belongs to the Rams. I absolutely love to watch them. They have potential to make every QB that faces them scared for their lives, and they have every reason to be. The Cardinals' Patrick Peterson is one of the most overrated players in the league, in my opinion. He still has some things to prove for me, mainly on the defensive side of it. He's a great return guy. I'll give him that.

NFC PLAYOFF SEEDS:
1. Green Bay Packers
2. Atlanta Falcons
3. San Francisco 49ers
4. Washington Redskins
5. New Orleans Saints
6. Chicago Bears

NFC CHAMPIONSHIP: Falcons beat Saints (possibly for a 3rd time)

SUPER BOWL - Falcons vs Patriots - I do not care who wins this game. This is a "dream" Super Bowl for me. One of my favorite players in Tom Brady going up against my favorite team in the Falcons. Its a win/win situation for me, and therefore I will not give you a winner. Again, flip a coin...there's your winner.
