Tecmo Super Bowl is a classic game that came out for the Nintendo Entertainment System back in 1991. I enjoy how the roster was updated to the 2003 roster instead of the old 1991.

Graphics:
This game uses the classic graphics from 1991. Graphics have improved over the years, but this was good for 1991.
Sound:
The sound for this game is okay. After a while of playing, you can get annoyed of the constant sound of high-pitch notes.
Addiction:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             If you enjoy classic games and enjoy football, you might get addicted to this game.                                                                                                    Story:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          The story would be the 2003 season. You choose the team you want and continue throughout the regular season (or playoffs); however, you cannot save the game even with the Vizzed Emulator causing you to restart to week one.
Depth:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              The game includes 30 NFL teams (Unfortunately, the Texans and Baltimore Ravens were left out). It has a 17 week regular season and a 4 week postseason. The Conference divisions were not updated and team logos were not updated. If you win enough games, you can make it into the postseason. Losing games makes it harder to be in contention to make it to the playoffs.
Difficulty:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             If you know the rules of football then this makes it easier for you. The controls aren't hard and very easy to learn.  Learning the playbooks and how the plays develop can be a challenge for new players. Man-coverage in this game can be confusing and the defense in the game can catch up to you even if you are far in front of them. Selecting defensive plays can be very tricky. If you chose to defend a running play and the other team goes for a passing play, the secondary will be left wide open allowing receivers to make big plays. The farther you get into the regular season, the harder it is to make big plays.

Not a bad review. You did a decent job covering all of the different aspects of the game. As for not being able to save, did you try saving by using save states?

Not too bad of a review, only it is a bit confusing to keep track of the writing since some of it is on the left, and some is on the right, might want to fix that next time. But overall, not bad of a review on Tecmo Bowl 04.

pacman1755 :  There are only two lines on the right hand side, and a total of what.. three words?  lol
I think a bigger issue is that each category for scoring isn't separated.

EDIT as I looked down further on the screen:  Were you viewing the review from the posting screen?  If so, the format IS actually different. I saw you say something about the left and right text somewhere else and had no clue how you were seeing that.

Interesting indeed.

DRD9 :  Did you write this review on Word or notepad or some equivalent, then paste it here?  You might not want to do that, or you might want to fix the formatting after you paste any text.
