As it stands Super Smash Bros for the N64 does not have a high score submit section. Considering that the game gives points based on how players fight, the difficulty they complete the game and how quickly they fight, we've already a legitimate basis for this game to have this high score. Perhaps it was an accident that this game was forgotten when the high score features were added, but I'd wonder why nobody said anything til now.

This could be introduced as a high score competition and a good one at that.

Yeah, I agree as well. But I'm sure it was just a mistake or an accident that it was forgotten to be implemented like you said. I'm sure it will be created sometime soon. But it would be even more interesting if it was a high score competition. Seeing as how much people play this game on here, I think it would have a huge turnout and be very competitive. And believe me when I say that I will no doubt be one of the competitors if it ever does happen.
