I recently did a GTA IV review, and I was thinking, "There's something missing here in the review system...It needs another topic." And so it finally came to me. Gameplay. It's sort of a combination of addictiveness, depth, and difficulty. It's not exactly addictiveness because it doesn't refer to if you want to replay it, but how fun it is while you're playing it. It also covers how the controls and, well, gameplay contribute to the fun of the game, and whether the game fits it's genre. It's sort of hard to explain this, and this is the best I can do. What do you guys think?

I think that adding another topic to the rating system would require David to completely reset all of the existing ratings in the RGR. Any previous rating would become invalid because it was not judged on gameplay as well.

Also, I was very curious before reading your post to see what topic should be added. I don't care for gameplay as a topic because like you said it combines addictiveness, depth and difficulty with fun and that makes the topic too broad.

Before it gets brought up, I don't like 'fun' as a topic either. Obviously these are just my opinions, take them or leave them.

Gameplay? Hmmm. That actually is not a bad idea. A few days ago when I was doing a review, I got to thinking about the same thing. But, instead of Gameplay, I was thinking of Replay-ability.

thing1 : Well, replay-ability would literally be the exact same as addictiveness. The definition of the adictiveness topic in the review thingy is the odds of you replaying the game.
