Has anyone else watched this show yet?  I rarely find good tv shows worth watching. I'm pretty picky and I hate trying to pick up on a show that's already in like its 2nd or 3rd season.  But this show just started a couple weeks ago on TNT, and I really enjoy it.

The premise of the show is there a global, deadly virus that has broken out and is highly contagious.  There is a US Navy ship with 2 doctors aboard, and they are sent into the arctic in search for the vaccine, while all the military personnel on board think it's just a weapons mission and have radio silence and zero contact for four months.

They have no idea that while they were on the mission, 80% of the worlds population is either dead or dying from the virus.  Now, all forms of government is gone.  It's everyone for themselves, and this ship is just trying to stay afloat while the doctors continue to work out a vaccine.

It can appeal to those who like a military fighter type show, as well as those into the whole post apocalyptic sci-fi genre.  Comes on TNT Sundays at 8 central, and again I highly recommend it.

It sounds interesting, but im wondering what on earth would posses them to look for a vacine in the arctic.
Theres sod all there.
As far as vaccines go, I imagine the amazon would hold more answers.

thenumberone : I don't want to spoil the whole show, but the virus originates from birds in the arctic.  So they research the birds in the arctic there to look for it.  Doesn't make a whole lot of scientific sense, some of the stuff they do, but it's an entertainment show not a science documentary.
