Overall - 8.2: This game is a first person explorer, similar to the Namco Museum series on this system. So, with that being said, I kind of like this genre. Well, sometimes... The game is OK, but not as good as the Namco Museum series. Anyways, I don't know what the developers were thinking when they made this game. It is about the dreams you may have while taking drugs. Why they put that in a video game is totally beyond me. Maybe they decided to make an anti-drug message, or perhaps they just wanted to enforce the drug. Either way, this game sparked a lot of controversy, perhaps due to the disturbing imagery and / or the drug references. Either way, this game is still good, despite the concept of drug abuse. So, without further ado, let's get onto the review. Graphics - 9: The graphics are pretty cool, I guess. In some places, they are kind of colorful. In others, they are bland. But, mostly, they are just downright creepy. There are also some weird things, such as a giant statue of a foot, creepy-looking babies, and... God, it's just so random. The backgrounds are also weird, too. You have a small house, a village, a seizure-inducing lake, a city at night, a female womb (Yes, with creepy-looking babies), and so much more. The imagery, though creepy and weird, can also be violent. In one scene, you will find a couple of dead bodies on the ground, with blood alongside them. I also remember seeing someone jump off of a bridge, and then the screen flashed red when he / she landed in the water. This game definitely deserves a mature rating. So: Graphics = +10. Gore = -1. Grand total = 9. Sound - 8: This game has pretty good sound. There is realistic walking sounds ( Of course, not that it really matters, it's just...) and the occasional ominous sound to keep in the horror mood. The music is surprisingly upbeat for a horror game. But, maybe it's just there to make the game a bit more creepy (Yes, games actually do that). The sound isn't perfect, but I still sort of like it. Addictiveness - 9: This game is very extensive and fun to explore. You will never know when you reach an end. In fact, I have no idea how extensive this game is. This is definitely one of those pick-up-and-play games, but not a game that I would totally be obsessed with. Story - N/A: There is no real story to the game. All this game does is emulate a possible dream you might have while taking drugs. It's just plain messed up. I think this game is trying to say "Kids, don't do drugs, or this will happen.". And, knowing people's reactions about it, this message worked. Depth - 7: This game has a lot of places to explore. You can easily get lost ( Not that it matters, because there is no real gameplay and you are just walking everywhere). Anyways, this game is pretty big. It deserves only a 7 because you can't really do anything in this game. Difficulty - 1: You don't really do anything in the game, as far as I'm concerned. You just walk. Walk, walk, walk, and the occasional teleport to another stage. Yeah. It's still pretty fun, though. Wrap up: So, that's my review. What do I think of this game? All in all, it's a pretty fair game. I can't say it's my favorite Playstation game, but it's still pretty good. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed my review, and I will see you guys (and gals) later. Goodbye!
