My name's Gerrion, and i'll be your new friendly neighbour on these forums. I tend to call myself the Game Shaman, as i use Games for various reasons, from having fun to socialize and even teach, while still respecting them for the good and bad that they bring.

I'd like to tell how kind and helpfull i am, but it's my first day here, so i'll try to earn those atributes from your respect little by little. I'll do my best for that

Finding this site has given me quite a good time, as i played one of my childhood games and relived memories long gone. I'll definately try many other games that i didn't had the chance to play in my youth, though i believe that i'll need a game remote or something similar to try the harder, more complex games (playing Metal Slug on a keyboard is complicated for me...). Any advice/tip on this would be apreciated.

For now, i'll check what i can do around, and i hope to meet friends and have a great time at Vizzed. May not be around all the time, but you can always leave me a private message, to which i'll respond the next time i log in.

Based on what you said, there's no need to point out that there's a load of games around that you can play. But I still pointed that... dang it.

Anyway, hopefully you're gonna meet a lot of awesome people around these parts. Also, an easy way to start a conversation with someone is to simply talk about games.
So, why don't you go ahead and tell us some of your favorite games?

Oh, silly me. Placing an introduction thread without stating my favorite games

I'm more inclined towards platforms, RPG and games that use TCG games such as Yu-Gi-Oh. I'm also a recent fan of Monster Hunter, and play World of Warcraft casually.

I've been a fan of Sonic & Mario games in my youth, owning several of both at home (though not every single one, as my parents didn't used their budget on games). I've also played several Disney games from both SNES and MegaDrive because my parents were enthralled as us by their movies.

I became a platform expert when an uncle of mine had an executive position at Sony, which allowed him to bring a lot of Playstation games home. His sons had troubles with playing the platforms they liked (Spyro & Crash at the time), so they counted on their oldest cousin, yours trully, to play the games for them.

I've sticked mostly to GameBoy games because carrying games with you everywhere you go is a very powerful aspect. As such, the system that i have updated on games the most as of today is the N3DS, with Monster Hunter, PKMN Y, Fire Emblem and the Sonic Colection cartridge for NDS.

It seems as though we share quite a few game interests. As the username says, I am a big fan of Yu-Gi-Oh!, as I have practically anything when it comes to that (cards, games, merchandise, etc.). I also own a 3DS and have many of the game you do.

I am kinda interested in how you use games to teach.

Might I suggest getting a cheap usb controller? You can find them for a few dollars in many electronics stores and they work rather well.
