Overall - 9.6

ZombiU on the Wii U was one of the games that I was looking forward to playing when the Wii U came out. I was very disappointed in the bad ratings and reviews about this game. I was confused because I find this game to be very fun and very interesting. Sadly, they are not going to make a ZombiU 2 due to people not buying this game. But I sure will change your mind about this amazing game because I know that it is not a bad game.

Graphic - 9

The graphics on this game is really good for a Wii U game. The zombies look very scary and the environment looked realistic. The effects were realistic as to killing the zombies. Great looking game.

Sound - 9

The sound effects were really good. You could hear a zombie from far away and the suspense sounding really got me on the edge of my seat. Since this was a first person game, you could not know what is behind you. The game plays horrifying songs and makes the game feel like an actual zombie game.

Addictiveness - 10

ZombiU is one of those games that I would play it over and over again just for the excitement. Especially when you play on the hard difficulty to where if you die, you start all over again. Love how they made it like this, kind of old school if you ask me.

Story - 8

The story was okay. You end up being in a world filled with zombies and you are not sure what to do. You find out that you are in London and there is a guy on the intercom helping you to figure a way out of this mess, watching your every move. Pretty good story and an amazing ending scene.

Depth - 7

This game does not have that many things to do. You just do the story missions and there is no side quests or other missions to do. The game does not have a big environment to go around in. However, there are some pretty cool things to do and have, for instance, you get a radar that tells you where the zombies are exactly located. Another thing is that you have a device that can show you clues or secret hidden items and can examine what are items that you can use and where the zombies are marked at on your screen. This game does have amazing features, but as for versing the zombies, it is what a lot of people do not enjoy. You are to verse one zombie at a time if you use your melee weapon. I honestly did not mind this, but apparently this is what I believe that made the ratings go down pretty quick.

Difficulty - 6

ZombiU is not that hard to play once you get used to it. As I said, versing one zombie at a time with your melee weapon is the only difficult thing about this game. Everything else plays fair and the game helps you out a lot. As for the harder difficulty, it is all about luck on how quick you kill a zombie one by one without getting killed by a zombie from behind.

Wrap Things Up...

ZombiU is a great zombie game to play on the Wii U. I highly recommend this game to anyone that is a zombie fan. It is not so bad if you try it out.

Marcmoney :

mike money, I really like this review. I feel the same way about certain games, where they are almost universally panned by critics but I feel the games are really good so it feels like a great sense of injustice is occurring because people may not play the game because people are lying about it.  your review was kind of an intentionally humorous at places because sometimes it felt like you were giving the game backhanded compliments, such as where you said quote the graphics are good for a Wii U game on quote or when you said it felt like quotes an actual zombie game and quotes. Apart from the unintentional hilarity, I really likedthat you had a point to writing the review and I would advise in the future is to take your time and imagine yourself in the shoes of someone reading your review and try to answer the questions they might have, for example I've played the zombie game or whatever the demo of it I mean and so I know how it being a first person game it kind of leaves and ambiguous about who your character is what your review kind of leaves and ambiguous too so you might want to explain weather throughout the whole game they continue to leave it kind of open to interpretation who your character is R&R is that part of the mystery do we ever figure out who the main character in the game isn't it matter? Sorry about the bad grammar in this comment I'm using voice recognition so I leave it to you to decipher what the heck I'm talking about. Until that day till all are one.

bsnowotter : I have not played this game in a while. I know this review is not accurate. When I write reviews, I write it as soon as I beat a game so that  can explain my experience of the game. And I understand your post.
