I love Contra. Just love it. Every hardcore gamer loves it, can't argue with that. When someone says, "what is a good 2D side scrolling shooter?" I'll say Contra.

Graphics ~ 9 

The graphics were awesome at the time, no two levels look alike, except the 3D ones. 

Sound ~ 10 

The music is stupidly fantastic. My headphones go on full volume. When you die, it makes this static noise. Awesome. 

Addictiveness ~ 8

I'll come back to Contra any day. I half to admit that.

Story ~ 5 

You're a guy named Bill Riser trying to defeat the Red Falcon and save the world. 

Depth ~ 7 

3D stages, 2D stages , 8 hard levels, I think there's overhead stages.

Difficulty ~ 8

Every time I half to use the 30 live code. That's sad, right? This game isn't easy, it's not hard either.

Charlie506 : Nice review, not that good, but certainly not bad, but you could go more into detail. This just seems like a technical review, like you just wrote down the game based on the stats and all. Maybe try to express your opinion, something like:

Once again, very nice review, and I see that you might have a talent for writing reviews, but you just need to improve a bit more.

This review could be a lot better. There is so much more you could put in it. It honestly looks like there was barely any effort. Details it lacks a lot of details. I want to hear about what makes the game so great. What would make me want to go buy it or not buy the game. Which certainly will take more than a sentence or two. Maybe explain why you rated it so high more.  Also stating some things that could be wrong with the game what could make it better. Thing like that is what makes a great review.
