Hello, I'm known as "RaeLogan" on a lot of other sites, so if we've ever met elsewhere, hello again! If not, then hello for the first time.

I came across this site a few times in my search for roms and rom hacks to play for fun, and finally decided to sign up when I saw that I could also play old N64 games and some of the Genesis rom hacks that I couldn't get to work on my emulators. I love to play games, and especially retro ones I grew up with, mods and hacks of Genesis and Pokémon games, and I also enjoy the "Sonic the Hedgehog" series, as well as Mario, Donkey Kong and, as mentioned before, Pokémon.

This is not the first time I've signed up on a forum, though in later years, I've frequented them less than I used to. I try to be friendly and helpful when I can, but I also tend to over talk and trail off when discussing things, as I have a couple disabilities that sometimes result in me over thinking too much over something very simple. If that happens, I apologize in advance.

I don't know much about rom hacking and internal game codes, but I do enjoy fooling around with them when active, but usually after I've played the game at least once all the way through. 

I see that there's a lot of games I used to play a lot when I was a kid, and some I always wanted to try out, so that's also what caught my interest. Who knows, maybe I'll even find an old puzzle game for the NES that I used to play a lot when I was little (even had the level select codes written down in a notebook), but I can't for the life of me remember the name... only that it was a top down type view, there was a lot of ice and turnstiles, and I think maybe a radish or something. Maybe I'll get lucky.

Vizzed RGR is a great place to play classic games! I have been using Vizzed ever since 2012! I had another account called HardRocker765, which i lost the password to a year ago, so I made this account! There are many games available to play on The Retro Game Room, and I hope you have fun here!

imamonster : Do you remember what the general subject of the site might have been? Like, what we might have met over? I try to keep the same username across accounts (or themed variations of it) in order to make it easier to find people I've met before.

I've poked around on the site already and found what you can do to unlock more gaming content, so that would be pretty cool when I get there. I have a couple PS1 for real, thanks to a close family member, that allow some cool stuff to happen, and they gave me handful of games that I always wanted to try, but a few I wanted to aren't really in the pile, so this site might be a great alternative. When I was younger, my older brother had a PS1 that had a couple games and a ton of demo discs he collected with demos of games we always wanted to own but couldn't get, so there's a lot of those that I tried that I wanted to play the full thing for.

zanderlex : Nice to meet you! I can see that there's a lot available on the site, even hacks and bootlegs, so that's good to see playable copies that won't be in danger of damaging my actual game systems. I also see that there's the options for save states and being able to record gameplay footage while you play. I've tried that before with my own stuff just to review how I look when playing a game, and boy, do I look nerdy. XD

MaijjikalMotart : Again, cool! I found this place when I decided to hunt for a rom hack for a Pokémon game I saw gameplay footage of on a video from SomeOrdinaryGamers on YouTube (I love to listen to and watch their CreepyPasta segments, and there's often a rom hack of Pokémon for the ones for that series playing in the background to set the mood). 

RaeLogan : Well It was a pretty long time ago and even tough I have a really good Memory I can't really remember. I do remember that you were cool to talk with. ^^

RaeLogan : Word of advice, when you record games here, be prepared to face a really long upload time unless you already have a ton of software or my help.

Welcome on Vizzed! You already told a lot about yourself so I don't think I can ask anything of the usual things (How did you find Vizzed, what kind of games do you play etc.) so I'll ask something else because you seem to post some things already: Is there a specific forum you really like, or do you like all forums?

imamonster : Well, maybe we'll remember as time goes on.

zanderlex : I'm "el cheapo" on my stuff (for instance, I use MSPaint and an older version of GIMP for my computer art, I use the notepad app on my iPod to write a majority of my stories, and I won't use anything other than Windows Movie Maker for making vids), so I probably will have to settle with the slow upload times. XD

juuldude : Cool! Well, the first forum I started out on was the now defunct TitansGo.Net back in like 2003-2004, where I started also with my common username "RaeLogan" (at the time, it was "Rae_Logan") which is actually derived from my favorite pairing from Teen Titans, Raven and Beast Boy. I kinda adopted that as my internet name and to a degree, I will actually respond to being called "Rae" just as much as my real name because of that. XD

I also have frequented mostly Sonic the Hedgehog themed forum sites, like "The Sonic Factory" (haven't seen those guys in a while, I should swing by there again soon...), and "The Mephiles Domain" (which focuses heavily on an obscure character from Sonic 06, whom I've taken quite a liking to and have just about made my username the most likely to be seen around it, as I tend to be among the first on scene when something pertaining to Mephiles and his status in the fandom occurs. It's a funny long story, really. XD).

My favorite sections them are usually discussions on things in the series, or the art and stories sections, which I like to contribute to for fun. I have a lot of fan art I've done over the years, and I like to write fanfics (most of them involve Mephiles the Dark, of course) that try to be something different than most and don't resort to the content most I've come across in the Sonic fandom do (I refuse to write that sort of content...).

I might eventually link those up when I think I can get around to it... but I think the fanart I do is more likely to show up here first. XD

RaeLogan : Or you can just get a ton of free stuff that will make all of your files smaller so they will upload much quicker. Like 2-3 hours quicker.

That's an interesting username and I like it So, you're a big fan of the Sonic series Rae? He's a cool game character but my favourite series is the Mario series. What kind of character is Mephiles the Dark then? The discussions on games are really cool, my opinion on games changes a bit by looking through those discussions and talking with other members about it. You're also about creative stuff? That's cool, I like to draw and write a poem now and then but that's mostly for school. I might write a poem here once though. Cool to see you try to be creative with the fanfics! I'd like to see your fanart when it's out
