The Olympic Games contain a lot of sports, but there are also some sports that aren't played in the Olympics. Is there any sport you think that should be allowed in the Olympics? I think they should do more Martial Arts, the only two sports they allow are Judo and Taekwondo. Both are great sports, but it would be cool if there would be more of them.

I'm a bit of purist.  The Olympics originally involved martial skills, like running, throwing spears, hurling rocks and leaping structures.  It was all about the ability to fight a war and it was a showcase for the best soldiers.

Nowadays, we have ping pong (Table tennis, whatever), horse riding, kayaking, and so on.  Those sports aren't relevant to the military history of the Olympics and should be gone.  Winter Olympics are completely unwatchable and I can't stand them either.  Team sports?  Sure, add hockey and all that.  Figure skating?  I guess so.  Snowboarding?  No.  Stupid.  I get why they do it and they get their advertising money so they're happy.

Team sports are okay in the summer Olympics but the rest of it can go.  I think scaling them down would make them better.  I'm sure I'm in the minority.

imamonster : You agree too? That's one more vote for more martial arts!

warmaker : You're probably in the minority
Anyways, it's true that the original Olympics had all those war sports that showed your fighting abilities. Nowadays it's completely different. I don't think snowboarding is bad, I don't snowboard nor I'm a fan of it, but it's kinda cool to see in my opinion.
