???Now lets begin with this review. My #1 childhood most favorite game.
Graphics: 9/10 Ok, so these graphics get as good as they?get in 1998. Compared to most N64 games these graphics are top?of the line?the best. Another N64 game that has?very great detailed graphics was Banjo -?Kazooie. I think this game was the start of the small detailed actions in the game.?An example?is when Link?is?fighting Ganon. Now the detail on Ganon is just outstanding for the N64 system. As I have said before, the comparison between most N64 games is?just such a difference. Sound: 9/10 Now the sound is quite detailed. Most N64 games at this time had all pretty good sounds in game play. But again, I think Ocarina of Time?is?one of the best.?For the music, in my opinion it is just amazing. An example is all the temples music. Probably my favorite temple / boss place is Dodongo's Cavern. The music is just eerie. When you first walk in, you see that Dodongo huge skull of a head and just the place is all dark with bats flying around . . . and then all of the sudden the music, just?bone chilling when you think about it. Another great aspect of the?sound in the game is when?the Poe appears. just that sound kind of freaks me out the first?time if I am not expecting it.?Also when ever you attack the Poe / kill the Poe the sound is just spot on.?You can never forget about the sounds of the Ocarina. I just love the music?that?plays out of it?. . . it is just so realistic in my mind, plus the songs that you learn and play are just so creative and original.? ? Addictiveness: 8/10 In the very beginning of the game, I remember never wanting to stop playing this game. Why? Well I just want to get to see what is next. Now when the game progresses, when it gets a bit more difficult and a bit more thinking put into the game, ( mostly when Link becomes and adult ) the game gets a bit boring. Not like very boring to the point that you will not play it anymore, but to the point where I would not have the urge to play as often. Now do not get me wrong, this is probably the most additive Legend of Zelda game in my opinion, so this is just an eight. Story: 10/10 Ok, the big story of The Legend of Zelda. Now each Legend of Zelda game has a slightly different story line. Like in The Legend of Zelda : A Link to the Past, the main boss is Agahnim who steals the Triforce that eventually makes another dimension. But in my opinion, the story line that really makes sense is Ocarina of Time. I love how when you see The Great Deku Tree after you have beaten the boss in him, he tells you the story. The story of the triforce and the three fairy like figures that created Hyrule. Another Legend of Zelda that the story I did not like as much was how Link turned into a Wolf when he emerged in to the Twighlight in the game : Legend of Zelda: Twighlight Princess. So back to Ocarina of time, Young Link has yet to know that he is the chosen one. He meets a young girl, Saria, who in the future will become one of the seven sages. As Links journey begins, he realizes that Zelda has made a mistake , and now he is the only one to fix that problem, against Ganondorf. Depth: 10/10 Now most Legend of Zelda games have great great depth. Now for this game, it was a big jump from all the other ones before. you have all those heart pieces to collect as usual. A new thing was that you have to collect Gold Skulltulas, for those who do not really know why you had to collect them . . . the more Gold Skulltulas you collected, the more you can cash in for the very wealthy cursed family. I forget the specifics of what they gave you, but I know it was bigger wallets and a lot of rupees. There are plenty of items to collect, like, all of the masks. The Mask of Truth is by far the hardest to gain without going on a walk through, if you have collected it without any help . . . you are?a legend in my mind. Now all the types of arrows you have to collect is a pain, also Dins Fire, Farores Wind, and Nayru's Love is such a pain to collect all of them. You have all the bomb bags, arrow bags, deku seeds bag, the wallet sizes, and finally collecting all the empty bottles is just overwhelming to do. So an easy ten out of ten for me in this column. Difficulty: 7/10 Well the difficulty on the bosses is very easy to beat. to defeat Ganondorf and Ganon, it just is not hard at all in my mind. I guess the most difficult part about this game, is that the amount of items to collect is just overwhelming to collect them all. If you are one of those people who like to collect everything in the game . . . well good luck with that without a game guide.? ???That was my review, I hope you like it. ( My first review ) . The entire beginning of this is completely plagiarized. That is against the rules. When you start reaching the categories (beginning with graphics), it all looks like it is your own words, which is the reason why I am not deleting the whole review. However, your word count will be ignored and your CP and Viz will be revoked. Please, remember in the future that plagiarism is not accepted here, even if it is only one part of your review.

Awesome review, This game truly is a classic, this possibly could have the building block for all Zelda's to come really, if you look at all later Zelda games there is always a hint of Ocarina of Time in them, I remember first playing Ocarina of time it was such a classic game, and back then the graphics were amazing. Remember the craze about getting the golden cartridge? HA! that was classic, it was sold out everywhere, and the prices people were reselling it back then was insane I remember places offering it was like over hundred dollars. The music in that game is so beautifully done. And the way they did the story and progression of Link from child to Adult was ingenious, that game will never get old, and still has a legacy today, with it being re released for the 3DS. And the version on 3DS is just as good as the one on N64. The characters on that game is simply amazing, you can get behind and love almost each and everyone of them. |
