I'm digging through Game boy games right now and go through pages of nothing but Pokémon.

Any way to filter out results?

I had honestly never tried to filter out a keyword but now that I've tried, one thing is certain - putting a minus sign in front of the word you want removed does not work. I have never heard of any other ways to do what you are wanting to do but if there is one person (other than the owner) that knows how to do it it's

There currently isn't a way to filter words from the search. The closest thing would be to use the the Letter search underneath the search bar and sort by 'Name'.

I was wondering that when sometimes you type in a game's name and a list of games come up. Does all the games for that name come up in the search list? I was also wondering when you type in a name in the search box, that only some games come up in the search list and not all games with the search name come up in the search list. Is there any way that we could make it that so every game with the name or similar to that name appear in the search list, or does searching up a game and not all games appear in the search list, just because there is not enough space for all games with the search name?

happiness7 : That's the tricky part about coding a search bar. Usually they're either too strict in the filtering, or not strict enough. It could be made to be more inclusive, but you'd encounter a lot of issues like slower results, and eventually if you searched far enough back, games that have almost nothing in common with what you're actually looking for.

Basically, it can be done, but it would make the search results less precise, and slow down the page loading. It's a lose/lose (or win/win, depending on how you look at it) situation.

There actually is a way.
If you want to filter something out, it would be -()
For example: emerald -(pokemon)

That would give the results for everything with emerald in it without any result that has pokemon in it.
