I just wanted to apologize for being so late in putting this up. I also only have 1 picture for now(a horribly drawn starter which will be shown in my next post). For my gym challenges, how would you like me to post them? I was thinking the whole gym in one post, all but the leader battle condensed. If anyone has any opinions about that, let me know. Also let me know if you would prefer just drawings or colored ones.

Rules(subject to change if difficulty needs to be raised):
Must catch the first pokemon in a route(Dupes clause active). If in a cave, the entire cave counts as 1 whole area.
If a pokemon faints, they will be permanently boxed(I can't bear to release them).
Shiny clause is also in effect. I will catch any shinies I see but will only use them if they are the first to appear in the area.
I may use pokemon with Mega Evolutions, but I will not use the Mega Evolution itself with the exception of the mandatory Mega Lucario battle.

"OUCH! Did you have to do that Fletchling? I was sleeping!"

"Surgiac! Time to get up! Get changed & go meet the new neighbors!

My name is Surgiac. My family just recently moved to Vaniville Town in the Kalos region. My mother is here with me. She is a retired Rhyhorn racer. My father is travelling abroad because his job as a pokemon battle instructor takes him to many different places. He should be home shortly to help us get settled in. I get out of bed, grab the only outfit I have unpacked besides my pajamas(Why didn't I unpack more?), and put it on. I look in the mirror to straighten out any wrinkles or stray hairs I may have & rush out the door.

"Hello, neighbor! My name is Calem."

"I'm Shauna! Nice to meet you!"

Calem: "The world reknowned Professor Sycamore lives near here. He has a task for 5 people, including us. I'm not sure how he found about you though. Unless he knows one of the movers."

Shauna: "Our friends are waiting in Aquacorde with the pokemon the Prof. is giving us! We came to get you! Let's go!"

Shauna then runs off before I can say a word. She certainly has a lot of energy. Before he leaves, Calem says, "Just go through the northern gate & down Route 1 to get to Aquacorde. You don't have to worry about wild pokemon on Route 1. They avoid that route as if it were the plague." That's comforting to know.... :/

I make my way to Aquacorde, enjoying the scenery along the way, even if it does contain the plague. As I step foot in Aquacorde, I hear Shauna calling my name. I'm wondering how she even found my name out. She ran away before i could tell her....

Shauna: "Come sit over here, Surgiac!"

Calem: "Everyone, this is Surgiac. She just moved to the Kalos region."

All: "Hello!"

Calem: "Surgiac, this is Tierno. He loves to dance. I'm surprised his batteries don't wear out."

Tierno: "I can't even think about quitting dancing. I love it!"

Calem: "This is Trevor. He's a little shy at times, but if you ever need to know any useless trivia about pokemon, he's the one to call on."

Trevor: "It isn't useless!"

Shauna: "Do you have a nickname, Surgiac?"

Me: "...no."

Shauna: "You need a nickname. What do you want us to call you?"

Tierno: "How about Lady S?

Shauna: "No! She's a Lil' S! What do you think, Trevor?"

Trevor: "You want me to nickname someone I just met?"

Shauna: "Yes!"

Trevor: *sigh* "Well, how about S-kins?"

Me: "You want to call me skins?"

Shauna: "So what do you want to be called?"

Me: "How about Surgiac?"

Shauna: "No! You need a nickname!"

Me: "I need a nickname? Fine. How about Lady S?"

Shauna: "Lady S it is!"

Calem: "If everyone's done with the nickname wars, Tierno, don't you have a pokemon for Surgiac?"

Shauna: "Lady S!"

Calem: "Excuse me. Don't you have a pokemon for Lady S?"

Tierno: "All I have is this Pokemon Egg. Everyone else already picked theirs"

Me: "That's fine. I'll take it."

Trevor: "Don't forget this. It's a Pokedex. It will record data on any pokemon you've seen/caught. It's an indispensable tool...."

Calem: "....of useless trivia."

Trevor: "It's not useless!"

Tierno: "Here's a letter from Professor Sycamore. Take it home to your mother before you set out. Come on, Trevor! It's time to dance our way to the top!"

Trevor: "Wait for me!"

I take the egg, letter, & Pokedex that were given to me & leave Calem & Shauna(Nicknames.... seriously?) to chat while I head back home to let my mother know about my impending journey. I don't take more than two steps(not really) before the egg hatches. Funny.... I didn't know eggs glowed when they hatched.... and where is the egg shell? I look down at my hands to find myself holding a small Nidoran. It is light blue and its horns aren't very big. From what I've learned from my father, it appears to be a female.

Me: "Well, Nidoran. It looks like we're going to be partners. What would you like me to call you? Does Regina sound alright?"

The Nidoran looks up at me with wonder in its eyes & a smile on its face as I wonder why I wanted to nickname it in the first place. What has Shauna done to me?

Me: "Regina it is then! Let's go show you to my mother before we set out on our journey. I'm sure she'd like to meet you."

As we walk through Route 1, I see that Regina isn't bothered by it before I realize this plague probably only bothers wild pokemon.

Me: "Mom, I'm home! I have a letter for you."

Mom: "Is it a love letter? Maybe it's from your father...."

Me: "It's from Professor Sycamore."

Mom: "Oh. Well, let's read it then.... He has lovely handwriting.... What's this?..... I see...."

Me: "Look, Mom. I also have a new pokemon. I named her Regina."

Mom: "Oh, what a cute Nidoran! It looks like the professor wants you to go on a journey with that pokemon. I think it's a wonderful idea! Here is a change of clothes & a map so you don't get lost. Now go have fun on your journey! See new places and make new friends!"

I put my clothes and the map in my bottomless bag, give my mom a hug, then set out on my journey. I'm looking forward to what this grand adventure will bring.

Nice text nuzlocke! I hope you are going off of the game and not just writing this as a story, because none of your Pokémon will die and you would always get what Pokémon you want.

tyranit : I am doing this off of the game but even if it were just a story, I would make sure I'd get something I didn't like and pokemon I like would die. 

I've already had 1 death & just got to Cyllage City. I haven't been able to post updates because nobody has been posting in this thread. The pokemon that died was a Scraggy. Caught it in a horde & it ended up dying to a NPC's Scraggy. Right now, my party consists of Pansage, Azurill, Aerodactyl, & Nidoran ♀. The Azurill's ready to evolve but I'm holding off until it learns Bounce. I'm also waiting to evolve the Nidoran. Other than that, I have a few boxed pokemon. Those are Bunnelby, Ledyba, Charmander, Meditite, Hippopotas, & Cubone.

This seems interesting. I hope to see more of it soon!! Nice job, Surgiac
