Hello Pokemon freaks,Otaku,Semi otaku,Bronies,And anyone else who goes on these forums.I am back to spread my word about the elite 4 to the masses (Aka you guys) And today i am looking at Agatha. Now her party may look a bit tough (In fact i would say she is the most The intimidating of all the Elite 4 members) Don't worry,If you play your cards right,She can be beaten EASILY.In fact this summary is going to be just a little bit shorter than the rest of my tips and tricks,Because her team has one major flaw,That can be exploited to no end.So lets get this over with shall we?

*What your up against*
.................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

1.Gengar: (Well actually...two Gengars) Despite what i said in the description,These guys are so easy to get by.In fact i would say Agatha has more flaws with her Pokemon than Bruno.Except its not a whole barrage of flaws,Rather its one gigantic flaw.In this gen,Psychic types are completely impervious to ghost type moves...Done...That's it,That's all i need to say.Just take a Alakazam,or Hypno in there and kill them. Its so simple,But just in case you cannot get your hands on a psychic type *Sigh* I must give you tips on how to survive anyway,Fine.Let me first start off by saying that this is no easy task,As Agatha makes sure to give her prized Pokemon the cheapest moves possible,They are basically meant to piss you off,This Gengar has confuse ray,Which is basically like a flashbang grenade,That just blinds you so you can't fight back,Then we have night shade,Which will do damage based on the Pokemon's level. In this case it should do about 56 Base damage. Then we have Hypnosis which is SO ANNOYING,IT's like Confuse ray,Except now you have NO CHANCE TO FIGHT BACK.And then we have dream eater,Which is one of the most annoying moves in gen 1 PERIOD.It will do a base damage of 100...That's bad enough,But then 50% of that damage will be restored to the user as Hp.This sucks,This really really sucks,Make sure that you pack PLENTY of "Awakening" Potions,As that will be your salvation,If you cannot get a psychic type Pokemon,Just be sure to get the strongest Pokemon in your party and use it to fight Gengar,Other than that.DON'T FALL ASLEEP,Jesus Christ its like Nightmare on Elm Street.

2.Golbat: Easiest thing to take out on her team,Agatha has Armed this "Winged Crusader" With Supersonic (Which is basically a lesser version of confuse ray) Wing attack,Confuse ray,And Haze. Supersonic is nothing to worry about,As there is a good chance that it will not hit.But if it does,Just be sure to use alot of potions,Or switch out your Pokemon,Confuse ray is basically...the same thing as Supersonic.Wing attack can hurt you quite a bit,Luckily all you have to do is get something sturdy,And you will be fine.As for haze...its worthless,Don't worry about it.As for ways to defeat the Pokemon quickly,Just use a Electric type like Raichu.Or a psychic type like Alakazam,Even a rock type like Geodude will work,In fact it might be better than the other choices,As it is a rock type.If there is anything we need to really worry about,Its the Pokemon's speed. As Golbat is not to be underestimated. So be sure to get something that's either quicker than Golbat,Or something that can take a few hits

3.Haunter: Really...I have to give you tips for this? Fine. First we-Wait No i don't! It has the exact same moveset as the two Gengars.Just do the same thing as you did with Gengar!

4.Arbok: Hmm...A challenge,Arbok seems to be a bit weak when you look at it at first,But we need to be on a guard. This Arbok wields.Bite,Glare,Screech,And acid.Lets see how we can survive these.Bite does not do to much damage,Even though this Arbok is decently leveled. However,We need to take not of its little side effect,it has a 10% chance of making the target flinch. And even though Arbok is a bit sluggish,And that percent is pretty low,It does not hurt to be prepared.Glare Will paralyze you,AND IT IS SO ANNOYING.Be sure to pack a TON of paralyze heals,I promise you it will be effective.Screech is..worthless,Nothing to take note of,In fact whenever Agatha uses it,Just think of it as a free little hit.And finally we have Acid,That is something to take note of.It will lower your defense stat by 2 stages,That is going to hurt you.I promise you it will hurt,It might not at first,But that damage is gradually going to build. And build. And build.Until you are so soft,A baby's fist would be enough to put you in a coma.beware i say,BEWARE!

*Best starter*
...........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
Blastoise: Yep,The turtle finally won a round,Blastoise is the best starter for this scenario,Because while Charizard is fast,And can dish out alot of damage. He is fragile,And Venusaur does not win this because while he does have a higher Sp.def stat,Its grass type moves are not going to be that effective here,Are best option right now would be Blastoise,Other may argue Charizard,And i have to admit it does have a few strong points.I just think its to big of a risk,And i do not like taking to many risk.Besides with Blastoise you get a good little stream of damage,And a decent defense stat.Sounds pretty good to me.

*Pokemon recommendations*
............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

1.Alakazam Or Hypno: Hands down,Most effective Pokemon on this entire set,Even more than your starter. It is fast,It can dish out damage to an EXTREME AMOUNT.However is is a bit weak...WHO CARES!? PSYCHIC TYPES ARE NOT EFFECTED BY GHOST TYPES IN THIS GEN! YES! It is so cheap to just use this pokemon,And destroy Everything she throws at you,If you cannot get Alakazam.Just get Kadabra. And if you must...get hypno,Its going be alot less effective though.

2.Zapdos Or Golem: Zapdos can plow through most of these guys,Especially Golbat,And you should have no problem what so ever when using this Pokemon,If you cannot get Zapdos,Golem is your best bet.And if you cannot get that,Just get gravler.

3.Snorlax: Odd choice? Allow me to explain,Snorlax is a normal type.Normal types are immune to alot of ghost type moves.Get the point?
Plus Snorlax is basically a Tm slave,That can be filled with the brim with alot of moves.

And those are really my only recommendations if you have any suggestions,PLEASE post them down below. As i love to hear other peoples opinions.

And that is basically the...summary,If you happen to have any thoughts about this review or the Pokemon,Or Agatha in general.Feel free to post them down below.
.............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
You are not scary...stop trying to be...

OH yes,Apologies for grammar.But let's be honest.You know what i am saying don't you?

One thing that helps the battle a lot is the poor AI. It's quite possibly that Agathas Gengars and Haunter may try to use Dream eater even if your Pokemon aren't asleep. I think you need to truly be wary only if you're playing Nuzlocke.

This is a very good guide, but I would not go with the Pokémon suggestions because I would just use my own team that I used throughout the whole game.
