First there were records and then there were CD's. Now we have MP3 Players and phones. What do you think will be the next big musical device?

Personally, I don't believe technology has the capability to make a better device, but of course, both history and science have worked together to prove the impossible.

But what could realistically come next? MP3 built in headphones? Musical glasses? Watches? What do you think?

I think the only thing that comes next logically would be a musical device implanted in your brain. Or perhaps they'll integrate something with Google Glass before that happens.

Either way, this post is coming from someone who still uses a Zune, so my opinions on future music-listening technology can't be all that valid! XD

Yeah, I can't really see any major changes or innovations outside of what has already been developed. But at the same time we've hit an unprecedented level of technological advancement over the past decade so God knows what Apple could have in store for their next iPhone or other music listening device.

i guess only time will tell.

I think there isn't going to be a next big music device mainly because you can only do so much with audio files. I also think there isn't going to be a next huge music device because there is simply no need or really a demand for it , after all company's make devices and such because they are for profit and I just don't see a profit in making another music device different from what we have now.

I am trying to imagine what actually could be next, but I don't really know what else there actually could be. The phones having music in then were a pretty big thing at first . . .
