Welcome to the instructions page for the 2nd season of Pokemon Osmium. Here are the plans.

You are allowed to attack other members. To attack other members, you need to post what pokemon and move you are using, and what user and Pokemon you are attacking.

You DO NOT have to wait for that user to reply. Once you attack somebody, you can either attack again, attack another user, or do something completely different. For every successful attack, you will gain EXP and in game money.

But absolutely NO SANDWICH POSTING. You must wait for at least two people to post before you will be allowed to post again.

You are allowed to perform 2 actions per post, but only one of them can be an attack, the 2nd action must be a different action. Other actions you may perform include buying items, using items, healing your Pokemon, traveling to a different route, and attacking and catching wild Pokemon.

If you are walking through a route, you may be attacked by a wild Pokemon or challenged by an NPC trainer. If you are attacked by a Pokemon, you can attack it to defeat it, or attack it and then throw a Poke Ball in the same post to try to catch it.

If you battle an NPC trainer, it will be a back and forth battle, if you leave the battle before that battle is over, you will automatically lose. The same goes for when you are battling Gym trainers and leaders.

In order to advance to a new city, your starter Pokemon must be at least 5 levels higher than it was in the previous city. For example, if you starter Pokemon is level 15 when you get your first badge, it needs to be at least level 20 when you battle the next gym.

The map is going to be the same as in the original game, except for one change, Osmium City and Cadmium City will switch places. The official Town Map will be posted in the game thread tomorrow, but until then, you may look at the old map to see what the region is like.

For every post that is made in the game thread that is 20 words or more, you will receive a point. You will also receive points for other actions. Posts in this thread do not count for points because this is not the game thread, but the rules thread. In this thread, you may ask questions or offer ideas and suggestions.

In addition to post count, you will get points for

1. Post length.

2. Number of Pokemon.

3. Pokemon Level.

4. Amount of in game money. 1000 Dollars = 1 point.

5. Amount of items. 5 Items = 1 point.

6. Successful attacks.

7. Badges.

Tomorrow morning, I will make the official game thread and summon all of you. The first post will contain all of the profiles, the Town Map, and the shop. Once the thread is made, you may begin your journey.
