Like the description states, there is another thread similar to this one, but this one includes the Classic series and the X series, which have special weapons appearing in their original form.

So, tell me, what is your favorite special weapon in the two series. This can include Mega Man, Proto Man, Bass, and X's special weapons, Zero's techniques, and Axl's different guns.

Just to put this out there, because of the blind love for Metal Blade, you ARE NOT allowed to choose it as your favorite, because I would have a million entries here about Metal Blade.

Mine is actually a tie between Jewel Satellite and Drift Diamond.

 - Jewel Satellite is a weapon from Mega Man 9 that surrounds you in freaking UNBREAKABLE diamonds. This is the best shield weapon in the entire classic series, and not by opinion. The thing almost never gets destroyed and protects you from nearly everything. It uses quite a bit of weapon energy, but you will probably be at full WE by the time the thing breaks.

 -Drift Diamonds is a weapon from Mega Man X8. Not sure why I like it so much, as it is so simple. It shoots two snowflake like projectiles diagonally in front of you, that can freeze enemies. It can be very useful, although it isn't too powerful, and doesn't use that much weapon energy.

My favourite weapon is Triple Blade from MM10. It shoots three blades at adjustable angles. It can mow down just about any opposition in a heartbeat. The only problem is that it runs out of ammo too fast, which limits fun.

My favorite weapon is the Fire Storm because I love the glitch that lets you have an infinite shield, and it can kill enemies very easily, which is fun to do while you are running through the stage without a care in the world.

My favorite weapon from the Mega Man series is the Electric Beam from Mega Man 1 because it is very over powered, as you can kill bosses like Ice Man in 3 hits, and you can kill the Yellow Devil in 1 hit if you know how to make the glitch work correctly

Well, it seems I like multiple, Its from MM8 and MM1, Its flash bomb from MM8 and Mega beam in MM1, why? Because the flash bomb can kill frost man and for MM1 is the BEST one, because I can make platforms by buster, by walking over nasty gaps, even used for boss fights, when I tried to kill Elecman, I tried to put the platform high! Even used for Dr Wily's basement 1!
