I will tell you how you get the Green, Blue, Black and Gold Chocobo's, First you need these following things so it will work.

- You have to be in DISC 2 so you have the Airship Highwind.

- You need Cloud to do this. Dundudundun.

- Go to the Chocobo Farm and buy 6 Chocobo Stables, one costs 10,000 Gil so you need to have totally 60,000 Gil to buy them all.

- Buy Chocobo Lure, you can buy it from the Chocobo Farm.. Talk with that Bill guy it costs only 2000 Gil.

- Go to the grass area near Bone Village. (The northern island in the map.) Equip Steal materia and when you encounter that big lizard named Vlakoradoses, steal 3 Carob Nuts from him. He has lot of HP so make sure you have Demi or Laser (enemy skill, you can learn this from the Corel Prison when you fight against Death Claws.) so his HP will drop faster.. You can also buy them from Chocobo Saucer's Wonder Square, but one will cost 500 GP.

- Then fly to the Goblin Island, it is located in the Northeast corner of the World Map, it's that tiny island where is a forest, there you will encounter Goblins, steal one Zeio Nut from them.

- 40 Sylkis Greens, they can be bought from the Chocobo Sage (He lives in the northern island, there is this lonely cabinet some where in the mountains so you need the Highwind to go there.), one Sylkis green costs 5,000 Gil so you need to have 200,000 Gil to buy them all.

- This is not essential, but recommended, you should buy the Life time pass to Gold Saucer, it costs 30,000 Gil.

- Soo totally you should have at least 292,000 Gil's to do all this, if I counted correctly.


So first of all buy those stables, buy some Gyshal Greens, or any other green, but they are the cheapest ones, then fly to the Chocobo Saucer area there you can find some chocobo tracks, equip Chocobo lure and when you encounter Chocobo throw him some gyshal greens and kill the enemies that are protecting him. Now you should have a Chocobo, dismount and choose send it to farm. Do this same thing few times. Then when you have done it fly back to the Chocobo Farm and talk with that Bill dude, then check your Chocobos... There should be one "Good Chocobo" if not go back to the Chocobo Saucer area and try again. Now let's say you have a one Male Good Chocobo, keep it and release the others you captured.

Now fly to the Mideel area and do the same thing you did with the first chocobo, then fly back to the Chocobo Farm and you should have captured one "Great Chocobo" make sure it is Female if you captured Male Good Chocobo... You can also have Female Good and Male Great.. Does not really matter.

Go outside and SAVE then go back to the Chocobo Farm and talk with that Bill guy again, choose "Breed Chocobos". And then pick Good and Great Chocobo and give them Carob Nut, now you should be Green if it's Blue or Yellow, restart the game and try again. Now you should have the Green one... Then do it again till you get the Blue one and it must be different gender. Example. You have a Green Chocobo who is Male and Blue Chocobo who is Female... Now feed 10 Sylkis Greens to both of them.

If you want to get the Black Chocobo easier you should go to the Chocobo Saucer and race your Green and Blue Chocobo so they are at least in the A-Rank, then you will get the Black Chocobo in the first tries, but if you are a patient fellow then just skip the race and try over and over again and eventually you will get it. This method is for those who does not like the Chocobo Race.

Now you have to wait some time so your Chocobo's will grow, go do some level grinding or go to the Gold Saucer to play some funny games for awhile... Now before you go back to the farm remember to SAVE first, now go talk with Bill and choose breeding Chocobo.s again, your Blue and Green should be ready for breeding now... So pick them and give them a Carob Nut, now you should have the Black Chocobo, if not restart the game and try again..

Now you should have Green, Blue and Black Chocobo, congratulations!

Ok, so you want the last one? The legendary Gold Chocobo.... Then fly to the Icicle area, near that Icicle Village is some Chocobo tracks, Equip Chocobo Lure again and start capturing Chocobos.. When you have captured at least 4 of them fly back to the Farm and check them out, there should be one "Wonderful Chocobo" who's gender is different than the Black Chocobo's.... If not do the same thing again till you do have it.... Now fly back to the Gold Saucer and talk with Ester again... Race those two Chocobo's till they are in a A-Rank, then fly back to the Chocobo Farm and SAVE... If your Chocobo's still aren't ready to breed go kill some time.... But if they are, breed the Wonderful and Black Chocobo with Zeio Nut (The one that you stole from the Goblin Island.) and now you should have the GOLD CHOCOBO ! !

I think this is much easier way to get the Gold one, but if you don't like breeding them you can always try to kill Ruby Weapon from the Corel Desert so you will get the Desert Rose.. Take that rose to the old man living in the Kalm and he will give you the Gold Chocobo.

So why I want Gold Chocobo? The main reason is that with this birdy you are able to go that island what is located in the Northeast corner of the map, you can't see the island from the map,but it's still there... Go there and you will get the final Summon Materia.

With these other Chocobo's you are also able to go inside the Materia Caves, there are 4 Materia cave's located in the map. Have fun !
