I will defeat evil with my power saber and destroy any enemy that gets in the way. Okay just kidding, this is a hack of X3 were you can play as zero through out the entire game I do not know who made this hack. But I am going to review this great hack of one of my favorite Mega Man X games in the X series.

Story: 10
Okay the story is the same as Mega Man X3. It has been a while since Sigma's last defeat at the hands of X and Zero. A reploid scientists by the name of Doppler claims to have invented a vaccine against the Sigma Virus. People and reploids feel like they have a wonderful world. Suddenly, mavericks start appearing left and right. It turns out that Doppler appears to be behind in the new threat. Zero and X set out to discover the truth about the matter. To make matters worse fear and panic is occurring due to the rumor of a possible virus going around. Zero must defeat the mavericks to save the earth. Has Doppler really gone bad or is somebody controlling the once highly thought of doctor? The plot was the same as Mega Man X3. The only difference is Zero is the main character in this game and X is the sidekick. I really liked X3's plot so having Zero as the star really bumps up the rating. In Mega Man X3 I thought it was nice that Capcom was trying something new. Players did not know it was Sigma behind it all till after defeating the mavericks. It was like they were trying to throw confusion among the players. I like plots that have suspense and mystery to them. Even though this is a Zero hack the story is still the same as the original. Thus, I think this was the perfect plot.

Graphics: 9
The graphics in this hack were very good. Whoever made this hack kept the original graphics of X3. The stage backgrounds are still very good. Blizzard Buffalo's winter wonderland is my favorite. It literally looks like a winter wonderland with snow and ice. Neon Tiger's jungle background was not changed at all. I also like how the electricity resembles lightening in Volt Catfish's stage. The other stages had awesome backgrounds. The sprints in this hack are very good. The enemies sprints were not changed. In addition, Zero sprints are very good. I have played some hacks before were the sprints were off. This hack's sprints are like the original. The controls are very good too. The only thing is there was a few times in the game were Zero felt a little sluggish. I only noticed it twice though. I thought that was amazing for a hack to have very good controls. How many Hacks can claim that? So Zero being sluggish was very minor. Most of the time Zero plays a lot like X in the original X3 which again is very nice. Therefore, whoever made this hack really did a good job of keeping everything together. The game also does not seem to lag. When I first played this hack I thought there might be a few lagging spots simply because it was a hack. To my surprise there are not any lags that I noticed.  If it was not for the two minor sluggish parts in the game I would have rated this one a 10. The times were Zero feels sluggish is minor. Thus, I give this hack a good solid rating of 9.

Sound: 10
How could it be possible to top X3's awesome sounds? By creating a hack with a very good soundtrack. The soundtrack for the most part is not changed. X3 had a really good soundtrack. Blizzard Buffalo's music is so relaxing that it really fits the winter wonderland theme nicely. I like Neon Tigers theme too it is upbeat and fits the jungle theme nicely. In fact, all of the music in this game rocked, no pun intended . The fortress stages also really rocked as well. However here is were the game really shines. If you enter a boss room playing as Zero the boss music changes to Zero's theme from Mega Man X2. Zero's theme in Mega Man X2 was really good. So whoever made this hack really knew what he or she was doing by including Zero's theme as boss music. Thus, this hack actually tops the original game in sound. I have played a few hacks and most of the time hacks do not have as good of a sound compared to the original games. This hack is an exception to that.

Addictiveness: 10
What is not to love about this game? It is mostly a Zero game which should add replay value. I really liked X3. In one of my other reviews I ranked X3 as my second favorite X game in the series. The original had high replay value. This hack has the same if not better replay value. In the original game you could only play as Zero in certain parts of the game. The original the player could not play as Zero while fighting bosses. However, this game you can and that is how the player is supposed to play this hack. I have found myself playing this one a lot again and again. It should be noted that X can be played through the entire game as well. Sometimes it is fun to play this game with one character and the next time as a different (more on that at the end of the review).

Depth: 10
This game has a lot to offer and also really shines on depth, which is amazing considering this is a hack. The power ups are still the same as they were in the original game. The player can still use Dr. Light capsules to boost their power. There are still armor vehicle chips to collect, and there are ways to increase your health bar. The player still has to fight all 8 mavericks to get to the fortress stages. What I also like about this hack is whoever made it adjusted Dr. Light's conversations. If players have played the original X3 light talks to X in the capsules used to power up. In this game Light will talk to Zero as if he is X. The wording has been changed a bit to make it appropriate for Zero. This game has a lot going on in it. The extra fortress stages adds depth, collecting all the power ups adds death. Furthermore, there are 4 hidden super capsules that the player can find. The only drawback is you can only have one super power. I often play through the game using a different super power its just fun. So, that also adds depth to this game. I really like games or hacks that have a lot of depth and a lot going on in them. When a game has very good depth it adds to the replay value as well as makes the game fun to play. The original X3 had a lot of depth to it. The depth for the most part was not changed in this hack. Thus, I give the depth rating a perfect score.

Difficulty: 10
The original X3 was very hard especially at the end of the game. This hack of X3 is harder than the original which is saying a lot. Zero in most Mega Man X games is a close range attacker. Zero in this hack is used for close range. To used the charge Saber you have to get close to the enemies to fire a charged shot. Nothing wrong with that but it does take skills to pull off. Also in the boss fights the Saber does a lot of damage. However, you have to get close to the bosses. It requires skill to use the saber attack because if you are not carefully you will get hit a lot. The items in this game are still hard to collect as if they were in the first game. To get all items and find the secrets the player will need to get creative on how to reach the items. Also the enemy placement in this game is annoying at times. It was so easy to get hit while playing as X in the original game. Also is the fortress bosses had small hit boxes which they were hard to defeat. While playing as Zero since he is a close range the hit boxes are still small so fighting the fortress bosses is a challenge.  Now, since Zero is a close ranged fighter you will most likely get hit a lot. Still this  hack is the difficulty that I like. It is the good kind of difficult game. It requires skills, creativity and a little bit of luck to master. Thus, this hack gets a perfect score on difficulty.

Overall: 9.8
All I can say is Wow on whoever made this hack. I really enjoyed playing this hack and it is one of my favorites. I really enjoyed Mega Man X3 as I stated. However in the original I found it frustrating that you could not use Zero accept for certain parts of the game. In this game you can play as zero throughout all the game once you get past the intro stage. For players wanting to play as X they can still do that too. X in this hack can be played with the entire game as well. So this hack differs from the original in that Zero or X can be used throughout the entire game. If a player chooses to play as X its like playing the original game. If the player plays as Zero, which is what this hack is based off of, it is like a Zero game. I have played this game using both characters. I still prefer Zero I think he is cooler, more fun and it is challenging. I also like how this hack did not really change anything accept conversations from the original. I have played over hacks as I mentioned above some were good and some were mediocre at best. This is one of the greatest hacks I have every played. I really wish when Capcom had made X3 that they would have made this game like that were you could have used Zero a lot more. In Capcom's defense X3 was one of the last hits for the Super Nintendo and in future X games they fixed that issue. But this is how hacks should be made. I would highly recommend playing this hack. If you are a Zero fan like I am than you will enjoy playing this hack. Thus, you will not regret playing this hack and you will have fun. I give this game a solid 9.8.

Nice job with this review man, I am most impressed with how organized it is and how easy it is to read, I am glad you made the font large and you also bolded the topic criteria for each category, in my opinion  that just makes it look more professional, it looks like the sound and addictiveness ones are smaller though, so just be sure to fix that and it will be perfect.

Aside from that though, I don't really have anything to say about your review other than it came out great and you really put in the time and effort to make it detailed and organized which are two of the most important things in a review, so keep up the great work and keep making more reviews, I look forward to reading your next one!
