NintendoFanKimmy:
Legend in the Making
Chapter Eleven: Element Bending

        An unconscious
greenluigi being carried by Jerry, followed by a limping NintendoFanKimmy
followed Olimar to his hideout, which was the area in which he and Louie parked
their spaceship, the S.S Dolphin, from planet Hocotate. The ship was surrounded
by Onions, or flying saucer-like homes for Pikmin to hide in during nighttime
when the predators of the planet were up and about, of various colors. There
were the occasional visitors from planet Koppai by the names of Alph, Brittany,
and Charlie, but they were not there this time. It was just Olimar, Louie,
Jerry, Kimmy, green, and the resident Pikmin. Not to mention the predators, the
nervously messed up Titan Dweevil, and- like I said, let’s not mention them.
Jerry, NintendoFanKimmy, and greenluigi gratifyingly accepted the assistance of
Captain Olimar, as referred to by the Pikmin, as they were not in the best
conditions. They had been slightly scarred by the robotic spider as it slipped
and collapsed after its nervous system had gone haywire. Another thing they had
to keep in mind was that it could jolt right back up at any second. Regardless,
our heroes, alongside Louie, were in need of treatment. And that is just what
Olimar provided. A few bandages here and there, and they were patched up in to
time. Green had finally come to his senses after passing out from fear, and the
rest had had time to settle down and unwind a tad. But, sooner or later, the
trio knew they would have to be on their way again, hunting down the remaining
parts of the XZH hack, and exterminating the regional villains whether they
liked it or not – the fate of Vizzed depended on it. So did the fates of their
friends. If they failed, though, they would be reassured by the thought of A
user of this treading in the opposite direction as they spoke, chasing the same
goal. That was always a great thought. Still no reason to hold back, though.
They should not have let out all the responsibility on his shoulders, and they
didn’t. It would be even more difficult for him to deal with things, in fact,
as he had no people accompanying him on quest. Not to their knowing, that is.
Also, the locations he travelled through may not have been as kind to him as
the ones Jerry, Kimmy, and green did. Not that they were easy, but still. They
knew not to let their guards down. So, they thanked Olimar for his hospitality
and told him they didn’t have much time, so they had better be on their way.
“You’re welcome.” Said the Captain. “For everything. Now, run along. Defeat all
the bad guys for your city. For our World. The Electronic World! We are all
counting on you, and good luck!” he bid, as his temporary guests were running
off again. “Goodbye!” yelled NintendoFanKimmy one last time to the Yellow
Pikmin who was standing by Olimar. She waved back. Then, they ran farther and
farther until they could no longer see the Pikmin World behind them. It was
completely out of sight. All that was visible was an empty horizon. They had
walked through the wall of “Jell-O”. So far, in fact, that the amusement park set-up
was not in sight either. They had gone to quite a long distance. But they weren’t
done yet. “Come on, guys.” Said Jerry. “At this rate, we’ll never get all those
pieces in time. Let’s get going.” And that’s what they did. The farther they
progressed through what had appeared to be the literal middle of nowhere, the colder
it got. It was gradual, but noticeable. “Wow… It sure is getting chilly, eh?”
asked greenluigi, crossing his arms. Kimmy scoffed, exhaling a visible breath
into the cold, frosty air. “You’re telling me.” Eventually, signs were being
made clear of new World territory in the vicinity of where they were walking;
it was about time. “Finally,” stuttered greenluigi with audible signs of
shivering. Then, they once again made their ways through the giant, Jell-O-like
wall that led to the next World. The pre-positioned amusement park-like set-up
was frosty and barely visible, so they still hadn’t had a clue as to where they
would end up upon walking through. To their surprise, they found themselves in
the Avatar: The Last Airbender World. NintendoFanKimmy immediately let out a
cry of joy. “Mastering the elements? That’s just what I need! It’s great we
ended up here, guys! I can get to work on my skills! I know having an
element-using Pokémon is great and all, but we need more than grass. I need to
have control of more things such as fire, air, water, metal, lightning and all
that. And I need to have control of it myself. Not through the use of some Pokémon.
So, toodles!” As Kimmy stepped forward, green stopped her and put his hand on
her shoulder. “Hey, hey, hey, hold up. Who said we were leaving?” Then, Kimmy’s
grin grew even wider. “Yay! Thanks for your support, guys! I promise, if I take
too long during my training, you will be allowed to venture off to other Worlds
that suit your skills best. We would be vulnerable upon splitting up, though,
so let’s try not to make that happen.” The trio walked forward and came across
a large Japanese-themed one-story building in the calm, rural part of the
World, where it was autumn. Red and orange leaves scattered the ground below
their feet, and were falling constantly above their heads. It was a beautiful
sight. But, no dilly-dallying was affordable. Keen was what they had to be.
Always sharp-sensed and ready to strike in case danger lurked nearby. This
world probably had villains, as well. Firelord, later Phoenix King, Ozai. To
their reassurance, however, a passerby had mentioned that his defeat, triggered
by the Avatar, Aang, occurred a few months prior. So, there were no regional
threats to worry about. That, and the calm, relaxing climate of the setting,
was perfect for NintendoFanKimmy’s training with the elements, and for Jerry
and greenluigi’s unwinding time. They all needed a small, temporary break of
some sort. This was the place to have it. Kimmy and the gang walked into the
seemingly deserted building. “Uh...” she began. “Hello?” Then, a few trainees
and trainers came downstairs. “Ah, a new customer!” the man exclaimed, dragging
Kimmy over to the desk. “Are you here to register for a month-long series of
training sessions?” The three looked at each other. “Well, yeah. Exactly,” said
Kimmy. “Is it free?” The man scratched his short beard. “Well, in celebration
of the recent defeat of Phoenix King Ozai, who was about to take over this
World, most services in this part of the nation have been made temporarily
free. This discounts and free sessions, however, end next month.” He looked
rather disappointed, but sprang back to his welcoming face within a few seconds’
time. “You came at the right time, kid!” he said warmly. “I’ll gladly be your
trainer. Have you had any experiences with being in control of random elements
before?” Green and Jerry looked at each other. “Uh, do we have to be here for
this?” asked Jerry. “I mean, like, is there some hotel-type thing we can stay
in for now or something?” NintendoFanKimmy’s future trainer nodded. “Yes. It’s
just across the street! It’s free, too. Be free to wander around the
neighborhood. It truly is a wonderful little community we have going on here.
Try to become part of it! Temporarily, that is.” Jerry and green nodded. “Uh-huh…
Later.” Then, they walked out of the door. “Good luck, Kimmy,” they told their
friend. “Thank you!” she replied. Then, she turned around eagerly. “When does
my first lesson begin?” Her trainer chuckled. “My, my, you are quite an
enthusiastic one, aren’t you? It begins in one hour. Be free to frolic around
the courtyard in the meantime if you would like. You can get a chance to meet
some of the other students who may be training with you later. Try to get off
on the right foot, eh? Anyway, run along, now! Have fun!” NintendoFanKimmy,
highly anticipating her first lesson, dashed off to the courtyard in the back,
where she would meet her future friends – and not friends. She overlooked the area.
There were quite a few kids and teens bending water, air, earth, and fire. One
of them was about five, and he was riding a little ball of air he had formed.
Another one was forming a large wave, and surfed on it. Kimmy also noticed a
girl about her age effortlessly forming marvelous statues out of earth.
NintendoFanKimmy knew she would be able to do all of those things within a
month’s time. She loved the thought. Then, she thought about coping with the
other students. Some of them looked friendly. Some of them didn’t. What if they
were mean? Then, she told herself to stop thinking about it and not to worry.
She made a firm fist with her right hand, still in a green glove with cut out
ends. Then, she took a deep breath and tried to look calm. “It’s okay,” she
said to herself, trying to be confident. Then, she flipped her hair and
exhaled. “I can do this.”
